JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Cosmic Connections
Project Overview
JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Cosmic Connections is a fully animated fan-made JoJo part (part 9) that takes place in the year 2103 in Hyoga, Japan and follows the story of Joy Anosuke (JoJo) and her friends as they learn to control their new stand abilities, as the entirety of stands as a whole hang in the balance!
- This is going to be a multiple-year project. I calculated that the overall series will be about 95 episodes long, that's about 4 years' worth of content. Changing voice actors is a hassle and it's jarring in the videos, so I know it's hard to look 4 years into the future, but please try and stay committed if you can
- Since this is a JoJo project, it would be favorable if you have some JoJo experience. It's not REQUIRED, but it does make things easier if you are familiar with the series
- If you do know JoJo, you know there's a lot, A LOT of yelling. Please be someone who is able to yell if needed when recording your lines
- This is just normal VA stuff, but this is a very emotional series. Being able to laugh, cry, and change voice tones depending on emotion is something that you'll need to do on a frequent basis.
- Now this might be a deal-breaker for some, but AS OF RIGHT NOW, this is nonprofit. While the channel is monetized, it doesn't make enough for me to be able to pay everyone involved yet. But as soon as I can start compensating everyone, I will.

Joy is an uncaring, witty, nonchalant 17-year-old. Her parents died in a meteor explosion, though she was kicked out before that so she didn't have the best relationship with her parents anyway. She's overconfident, hard-headed, vulgar (she curses A LOT), and cocky, but she values her friends and is self-sacrificial. An example of what you could imagine Joy as is someone who will see a person getting beat up in an alleyway and pretending she didn't see it. She'd probably drive a car into a tree just because she was bored. She's the type of friend that your parents wouldn't want you hanging around. However saying that, if she saw that it was one of her friends getting beat up in the alleyway, she'd see red. She's not a good person herself, but she hates bullies and anyone that uses their power to put people down, though she won't generally act on those feelings. She has a very "if it doesn't directly affect me, then I don't give a crap" attitude. Her stand is Nirvana, a sky blue anthropomorphic...thing...that can teleport things and people. Since Joy doesn't have many friends, she leans on Nirvana for comfort a lot.
"It's been 21 days since the meteor hit Hyoga...luckily there were minor injuries throughout the city, 'cuz anyone within the immediate blast radius was killed instantly...including my parents…and everyone else within a certain area was held in quarantine for radiation sickness."
"WHAT KIND OF BASTARD ALMOST RUNS OVER SOMEBODY AND DOESN'T EVEN HAVE THE COMMON COURTESY TO TURN BACK AND APOLOGIZE?!!!"

Because this is fully animated, it's hard for just one guy (me) to do it alone. I'll try to not work you too hard since this is non-profit for the time being. I'll mostly just need some help with in-between frames and character designs. Thanks!
