Joan of Arc - La Pucelle Opening

Project Overview

Looking for a French speaking narrator to accompany a very quick 1-2 min long opening pan for a portfolio piece.

The style of the project mimics 15th-16th century French illuminated manuscripts.

I'm sort of looking for either a serene female narrator or a deep voiced male narrator to take the audience through a brief opening sequence (think in the beginning of movies when the narrator talks about old legends like in Hercules, Moana, etc.) 


I hope to get it done before the end of the second week of January 2018.

the most important thing for this role is richness, clarity and honesty. The narrator is giving a brief opening for a concept film about Joan of Arc. I want to go for a documentary / myth storyteller vibe here.

"Joan of Arc. The records of history remember her as a saint and a warrior,

 a heretic and witch,

 a beacon of hope, and a communicator to God. 

Our story begins in the humble village of Domremy...where a young girl would receive her first message from the heavens...a young girl known as... the Maid.

  • Notre histoire commence dans le modeste village de Domrémy... où une jeune fille recevrait son premier message des cieux... une jeune fille connue sous le nom de... la Pucelle.
