Project Overview
Looking for like-minded individuals who wish to celebrate the art of music as an art form, not a corporatized money scheme. There is no sticking to the rules here, if a song takes a whole album, or multiple albums to tell its story, then it'll take multiple albums. If you want multiple beat signatures and tempos in a song, do it. It's all about expressing yourself in this wonderful art form. Plans are to do a mix of covers for songs that members find personal to them, and original works. Both remove and in-person are welcome, but neither are enforced. Would prefer to stick under the Progressive umbrella, with a mix of pure classic rock, blues, jazz, or orchestral, etc. like works as well. Anyone at any skill level is welcome in, as there is always time to learn and grow and expand your skills, but I do ask only people who are serious about joining and will be around for practice sessions and actually be active sign up. Every band member has equal say, and anyone is welcome to announce departure if they don't feel welcome or dont feel they fit in. This is a fun project where we can enjoy ourselves and the craft, and isn't necessarily serious, being silly and creating is part of the art after all. Hopefully this will take off some day, and hope to create with you soon!
