It's A Nice Knight (For A Party), and you're invited!!
Hello! I’m looking for 3 English-speaking voice actors for my animated short film. It is my senior art capstone before I graduate college, and while the whole process is very new to me, I still want to try my hand at a casting call!
A bit about the film:
Today is Morgan’s 23rd birthday. As the crown prince of Maddock, he is attending a grand party to celebrate. However, Morgan is rather introverted and would rather be literally anywhere else on Earth. When his mysterious friend Ava appears, Morgan and his trusted knight Lancelot follow her lead in hopes the night will change for the better.
Other things of note:
The leads are all queer POC, and as such I would like to prioritize queer voices of color. Please keep this in mind before auditioning!
I have never hosted a casting call or produced an animation on this scale. I am open to any and all suggestions to help make the process easier for both talent and myself.
This position is unpaid. I unfortunately do not have the funds to compensate talent for their work.
This project will be posted on YouTube. It may also be submitted to film festivals.

A bit too lively for my liking. but when it’s the Crown Prince’s Birthday I suppose this is what I should expect…
I want to. I just can’t. Most people are here because they want to rub elbows with me and it’d kind of be a pain for them if I left… [SIGH] Plus- it’d be weird if the one you were here to celebrate decided to leave, right?
