Ghost Quartet (Singers, Artists, and Animators/Video Editors Needed)

Welcome to the audition page for Ghost Quartet! I'm glad you've found your way here.

I have discovered this sung-through musical pretty recently and have fallen in love with it.  As far as I am concerned, I don't believe anyone else has made a project for it, so I thought I would make one to find other fans to participate and/or introduce this lovely hidden gem to others with their participation. I'd love to make a virtual musical out of it, but I'll need some help from all you lovely and talented people. I am doing this for fun, so all positions that are open are strictly volunteer. No payment is being given to anyone for being involved in this project. All roles and positions are open at this time. Before you go off and audition, there are a few rules:

1. 1. Content: This is a show that has many mature themes. So before you audition, PLEASE READ A SYNOPSIS, LISTEN TO THE CAST RECORDING IN ITS ENTIRETY, OR TALK TO ME ABOUT WHAT THIS SHOW ENTAILS. I would really prefer not to recast someone because they found issues with the content after casting has been made. There is no set age limit, but I ask if anyone interested in this production who is not yet in high school/under the age of 15 please make sure that they can handle the intensity within this musical.
2. 2. Communication/Commitment: If you want to be involved in this project, please either have or make a Discord. It's really easy to use and it helps me keep everything in one spot, rather than a million different places. Also, you don't have to be around all the time, but please make an effort to the role you audition for, and perhaps be given in the casting process. If you're struggling with this, please contact me.
3. 3. Mic Quality/Audition Procedure: The mic quality I don't care about as much, but try to make your audition sound the best it can with the equipment you have currently. For the actual audition (because I want to focus on hearing your lovely voices and vocal abilities), I ask that you all audition by singing acapella or singing to a track with headphones in so I can't hear the track in the recording. This way I can focus on just you and not your ability to mix vocals with a backing track.
4. 4. Attitude: Please be nice to each other. it's vulnerable to put yourself out there during an audition, and a negative environment makes it even worse. Also, how you treat others here WILL affect your own casting. Even if you have the best audition, if I see you being rude or negative to other people's auditions and work, you will NOT be cast. Period. No one wants to work with a jerk.
5. 5. Experience: I'm definitely looking for people strong and confident in their abilities. For roles specifically, I want people who are able to act and sing. If you're new for any of these, give it a try! If you're nervous at all because you're new to VA/singing/creative side, please reach out to me. I started just about a year ago using CCC, so I understand how overwhelming it can be to someone new. I'm also still discovering and experimenting with the director role on this site, and I want to give everyone an equal opportunity.
6. 6. HAVE FUN!!!! This is really important, I want you to be proud of the work you put up here, and feel you did your best, and had some fun too.

The date that I am closing auditions officially is February 16th, 2021 or when all roles are filled (whichever comes first).

Please feel free to audition for any role! Gender-bending auditioning is completely allowed and encouraged.
