Into Jupiter - A Short Science Film

Into Jupiter - A Short Science Film

Project Overview

Into Jupiter is a short film which gives a scientifically accurate view of what falling through the clouds of the immense planet would actually look like. I'm searching for experienced 3d effects artists and sound engineers to help bring the king of the Solar System to life.

You'll need to be able to render realistic clouds and lightning using the 3D animation software of your choice. (Ideally Maya, Blender etc.) Motion blur is also a requirement.

Ideally a cinematic, dramatic voice.

  • The vastness of space is matched only by the power of the imagination.

  • Over the past 100 years, our knowledge of the Solar system has expanded tenfold.

  • As we fall deeper, towering clouds of ammonium hydrosulfide are constantly illuminated by immense bolts of lightning, 100 times as powerful as they are on Earth.

It will be your job to give Jupiter a voice. From the howling winds of the upper atmosphere to the deafening cracks of thunder deep inside the planet, the soundscape will need to be huge and spectacular. The only question is: Are you up for the task?
