Interim Podcast
Project Overview
The Show: Interim, a story about the circles that our lives can make. Also: witchcraft and time weirdness.
Project Length: A contained 10-episode first season, with hopes for a similar following season with similar themes in a different story.
Compensation: All positions will be unpaid and on a volunteer basis. However, depending on the show’s reception, we might set up a Patreon. In that case the proceeds would go at least in part to the actors.
SYNOPSIS: Two guards at a Walmart beyond time fall in and out of love as they remember and forget each other. Hooded figures show up unannounced. A group of teenage girls plan dark magick together on their way to school. Rebecca goes missing, if only for a moment. This is a podcast about fates colliding, it is about the liminal spaces where witchcraft doesn’t seem impossible anymore. It is about the savage energy that all young girls possess. And it is a ghost story, as all stories are.
NOTES: We would ask that those auditioning be older than 16. Some of the characters have certain age ranges as well, but if you feel you can embody those ages without actually being that age, give it a shot! In addition, several of the characters will have a specific ethnicity or possible ethnicities, and specific sexualities. Please take those into account when auditioning and know that we will be attempting to cast those who most closely match those descriptions. In addition, almost all the characters are women, as we are primarily interested in exploring the relationships between women and magick, women and each other, and how they relate to the world. We encourage trans women and female-aligned non-binary folks to audition! Also of note is that we will be using Discord for read throughs and communications between cast and crew.
