Project Overview

We’re looking for passionate and talented voice actors to bring life to a groundbreaking new web series we're creating—a hybrid between anime and motion manga. The project, launching in 2025, features around 50 episodes, each lasting 1 to 2 minutes.

This is a narrative-driven sci-fi, Shonen-inspired adventure with epic battles and jaw-dropping monsters—think high-energy, intense, and incredibly dynamic!

We're specifically seeking American-accented voice actors who can deliver strong, emotionally charged performances. Your voice will help shape unforgettable characters in a world that pushes the limits of animation and storytelling.


Submission Requirements

  • Audition Lines: Provided upon request for each character.

  • File Format: MP3 or WAV.

  • Notes: Some roles may involve post-processing effects (e.g., reverb, pitch shifting) for enhancement. Please indicate if you have experience with this style of performance.

  • Description: The main protagonist, a confident, high-energy young man navigating a horrifying world. Oz is resilient and resourceful, with moments of desperation, determination, and hope.

  • Voice Range: Medium to medium-high. Needs to convey a normal teenager’s voice with moments of emotional intensity.

  • Additional Versions:

    • Younger Oz (15–16): The same actor should voice a slightly younger, more naive version of Oz for flashbacks.

    • Disciple Oz: A darker, more monstrous version of Oz. This requires a deeper, more aggressive tone.

    • The Eye: A cosmic, godlike entity that speaks through Disciple Oz. The voice should sound large, commanding, and otherworldly. Post-processing effects (pitch-shifting, reverb) will enhance the performance.

  • PREFERRED LOCATION: GREATER LA, we have set up a home studio at Sierra Madre (near Pasadena) so director can also offer live notes. As this will be an ongoing need, preference will be given to vo actors who can travel onsite to record 1-2x a month.

Main Villain - Prime Disciple (Male, 30s–40s)

  • Description: The main villain of the first arc, a crusader for a techno-cult. He delivers speeches with religious fervor and a sense of superiority. When transformed into his monstrous form, he becomes even more menacing and brutal.

  • Voice Range: Deep, commanding, and sermon-like. The actor should transition seamlessly into a darker, more guttural tone for his monstrous form.

PREFERRED: Preferences will be given to VO actors who are located in Greater LA. We have set up a home studio at Sierra Madre (near Pasadena) so that director can offer live feedback. This will be an ongoing need with 1-2x recording session per month.

    • Younger June (12–13): A slightly higher-pitched version of her voice for flashbacks, retaining her innocence and naivety.

Preferences will be given to Greater LA vo actors. We have set up a home studio in Sierra Madre (near Pasadena), and director prefers to offer live feedback. This will be an ongoing need until show wraps end of the year, and expected recording session is about once per month.
