Ink in the Ashes: Casting Call-Bound By Memory
Project Overview
Bound By Memory is a fully scripted psychological horror audio drama about grief, memory, and the cost of trying to escape pain.
The story follows Kaliope, a woman mourning the death of her older sister, Maryna. Maryna appears only in memories, voicemails, and dreams, but her presence shapes the narrative.
Kaliope is supported by her boyfriend Adrian, who slowly watches the woman he loves fall apart. All while doing his best to bring her back from the edge.
As Kaliope spirals, she becomes torn between telling Kane, her incarcerated father about Maryna’s death or letting Father Corin, a priest who knows the family break the news instead. Her estranged mother, Paityn attempts to reconnect and support her, but their shared history of absence, and hurt complicates every interaction. Some wounds never truly heal. This pain invites Althea an ancient diety that consumes memory. Althea promises relief from the pain. But relief always has a price.

📢This is an unpaid indie production in its beginning phases. 📢
I’m working toward paid compensation for future episodes and will always offer returning cast first consideration. If you’re open to skill swaps (e.g., you voice, I write or edit in return), I’m happy to collaborate that way as well.
