Hi, everyone! This casting call is for our first visual novel Ill Will. This story takes place in a high school where a spirit carries out the ill wills of people in the school. Can you discover the spirit and stop their actions? Or will this story simply end in tragedy? This visual novel has already been released for the NaNoRenO 2021 game jam but we would like to create an updated version of the game with voice acting. We are casting 3 roles for this game. Two of which are leading characters while one is a supporting character.
All roles are in the English language. If applying for Vera’s role, you must be able to do a crazy, psychotic laugh .
This is a free project as we do not have a budget.
Voice actors will be credited in the game’s ending credits, the game’s about section, the text file in the game’s folder, and on the game’s itch.io webpage.
DEADLINES AND AUDITIONS
The deadline for auditions is April 17th, 2021. This is not a hard deadline and it may be extended.
WHAT TO EXPECT
We are a small team looking to meet new faces so expect some welcoming smiles! We communicate mainly through Discord. If not, we could make other arrangements for communication as the game is already finished.
WHAT WE ASK OF YOU
We are in no rush, so please take your time and enjoy yourself! We don’t want anyone here to feel burdened or stressed out. However, the sooner you could get this done, the better it is for the project and all of us.
Since this project is a visual novel, all lines of dialogue must be recorded or arranged into separate files. Not every line of dialogue will be one sentence, some may be two or three sentences. All files will be sent to our email address.
WHO ARE WE?
We are a small, new game team called Frost Berry and this is our first game. We’ve done this visual novel in a month for the NaNoRenO 2021 game jam and had an amazing experience. We are looking forward to meeting new people and to participate in future game jams!

[She's trying to feed her BF (MC) and he gets embarrassed] Aww… look at you! You’re blushing again, how cute. (giggles)
[You've called the (MC) here to kill him] ...you… are… my first… (giggles)... soon… all will… follow~ (psycho laugh)
[She breaks down and starts crying] You… don’t deserve to see this side of me. I don’t… (sniffs) I want to be the one you love, not… the… the… (sobs)
He's an upbeat, fun guy. supportive friend who never backs down. Respectful and sarcastic. Baritone-Tenor Voice.
[Ace cheering MC up] You both are irreplaceable to me. I need the best for both of you so I can rest easy too.
[Ace making fun of Vera feeding MC; sarcasm] Aaay, Vera! What about my~ sausage? What about my~ feelings? Hmm~?
[Ace is telling MC that Vera was trying to kill him with a pill; serious] Talked him into running it through his personal lab stuff at his place. Waited a few minutes and… there were traces of potassium cyanide.
Invidia is an Envious, angry, jealous person. Later on, he changes for the better and becomes more humble and friendly. Baritone-Tenor Voice.
[Invidia is envious of the smartest student in the school, thinks he is cheating; Envious, annoyed/angry] That guy is the biggest cheater I have ever seen in the entire school district. I swear it.
[Invidia apologizes to Lucidus about accusing him of cheating. Feels regretful about letting his envious emotions take over him; Sorrowful, Apologetic] Lucidus... I'm sorry. I guess, in my life, I can't control the things I...
[Ace is slowly being choked to death. Invidia pleads with MC to do something.; Desperate, scared] S-Say something! Please…!
