Project Overview

Ignorance is a 0 budget (UNPAID) short cosmic horror film. It uses cosmic theming and storytelling to bring about a tale of the terror of ignorance within the modern world. Satirizing and making commentary on the phrase "ignorance is bliss" and its relation to current affairs.

Brief synopsis: A person is plagued by knowledge, deep and above that which the human brain can handle. Having had enough, on the edge of insanity, they search for a way to cease the thoughts plaguing them - the reality of life, of death, of suffering and pain. In doing so, things go a step too far, stripping them of all awareness and knowledge, revealing that maybe the true horror is in not knowing.

All filming will be live action, but you are not required to be on-site! Knowledge on cosmic horror is preferred but not necessary!

I am doing a search for talent within my local area for filming, and currently the project is in very early days! Due to this, I can not confirm a deadline, and there is still little completed relating to the project.

You MUST be 16+ and have discord to be a part of this project, as that is the best way to keep in contact with everyone involved.

  • Extended project deadline

    I have just extended the project deadline, so that we can hopefully get more applications in! Hopefully this doesn't cause any issue with anyone who has applied for a role, and if it does please contact me if you won't be available!

    This may not be the last extension depending on the time it takes for roles to be filled, and depending on each applicants role I may assign you pre-deadline to get started on your aspect, just to make sure the project doesn't end at a stand still - the more we get completed, the higher chance of applicants!
