I Wanna Be (Visual Novel - RPG)
Project Overview
Hello! I am Royalblue, one of the developers working at I Wanna Be as a Puzzle Designer. Our team is looking for voice actors for some of the characters in the game. Please make sure to read this entire description before auditioning, please.
Content Warning
I Wanna Be contains crude humor, strong language, mature themes, and dialogue that some people may find offensive or uncomfortable. While the game is not intended to shock for the sake of it, it does feature profanity, dark humor, and implied violence throughout.
If you're uncomfortable performing material like this, this project may not be the right fit for you.
Development of the Game
Development is currently around halfway complete. The core story and game systems are well underway, though writing is still actively being finished.
After launch, we also plan to continue supporting the game with post-release updates, including additional routes, new content, and quality-of-life improvements. (Depending on how much people like the game)
The game is planned for release on platforms such as Steam.
Game Introduction
I Wanna Be is an unapologetically absurd visual novel/RPG set in a high school where social status is a battlefield and every interaction can spiral into chaos.
"Survive the most ruthless and cutthroat high school society as an ordinary transfer student. Make friends. Make enemies. And the most difficult task of all...talk to girls."
With a cast of eccentric characters, branching storylines, and plenty of unexpected twists, I Wanna Be blends comedy, drama, and RPG mechanics into an experience that's as hilarious as it is unpredictable.

Voice Actor
Grace is a chaotically evil character(in most of the routes) who happens to be not very smart or competent. She usually puts up a front of being polite and well-mannered(her fake smile), but constantly breaks character due to her terrible temperament. She is a degenerate for attention, yet cares a lot about her image, even if her standards are very strange.

Brooklyn is a lawfully evil sociopath who (usually) displays a very small range of emotions. She is completely indifferent to the suffering of others and often looks down on other people, viewing herself as having more class than them. Unexpectedly, she does not have the greatest self-esteem, which is why she becomes vulnerable and paranoid.

Mei is an extroverted normie who always tries to lighten the mood and spread good vibes. However, she is extremely averse to conflict(and secretly very selfish), which often results in her not being able to take a stand or solve any problems. She constantly seeks validation.

Ashley puts up a persona of being an extremely shy anime girl because she is extremely insecure with her own real self. Thus, it comes off as extremely forced and inappropriate, but she commits to the bit anyway, preferring that others hate her “mask” instead of disliking her.
She only breaks character in one route, where you help her face reality and herself.
