Jirei, the protagonist, thinks that if he becomes a hero and defeats the Demon King in order to become the king, he can spend his days in laziness.
To be chosen as a hero, he trained himself to become a hero, sometimes fighting higher-ranked monsters to the death. All for the sake of his future lazy life, Jirei nearly works himself to death in an effort to make it all happen.
One day while he was sitting at a café, he overheard a conversation and learned about the harshness of being a hero and how much money he can make. In addition, he learned that even if he became the king, he couldn’t spend a lazy time with paperwork and other things.
Hearing this, Jirei immediately quit the hard work and decided to build a small hut on the outskirts of the city and spend his time there.
He figured that a minimum amount of money was all that was needed, so he worked occasionally as a D-class adventurer despite his SSS-class abilities, and otherwise lived lazily in the hut.
One day when he was thinking, 「I wish this kind of life could go on forever,」 a hero girl named Retinoa, who was chosen by the Holy Sword, visits Jirei. For some reason, she persistently invites Jirei to join her party. On top of that, the princess of the country also asks him to marry her.
Naturally, Jirei refuses, but both the hero girl and the princess are unlikely to give up……!
「I just want to spend my days in laziness. Just leave me alone!」
This is a story about an overly strong protagonist who just wants a lazy life, who defeated the Four Demon Generals and has attracted the attention of the Demon King, after escaping to another country, princess of that country also asked him to marry her and almost made him the king.
This is a casting call for a fan narration of the third volume of I’m a D-Rank Adventurer, for Some Reason I Got Recruited Into a Hero Party, and Now the Princess Is Stalking Me as part of Isekai Audio Tales. I'm looking for voice actors to voice some extra and recurring characters in the story. This is an ongoing story, so dedication to the project is required especially since I don't know which characters will be appearing in later volumes yet. I will be doing the majority of the narration, however, there are some chapters that focus on the backstory of some characters. If cast in such a role, I believe the listener will feel more immersed in the story if you narrated these chapters, but I can handle the narration if you are unable to.
This is a project gets funds from fan donations. The more chapters that are able to be uploaded per month, the more money we will receive.
The main things I am looking for are smooth delivery of lines (ex: no stuttering unless the line calls for it), little to no background noise, and dedication to the story. Feel free to audition for as many roles as you like, but make sure the voices used are distinct enough so that if your characters were talking to each other in the same scene, the listener would know that two different characters are talking. Also, while I am not a voice acting coach by any means, I do believe in leaving things better than when I found them, so if you would like some constructive criticism on your auditions, please indicate so when you audition. “Recently, some anti-hero factions living in the [Reconstruction Zone] have been intensifying, and it’s likely that some of you "members of the hero party" will be harmed when you move to the [Special Zone]. Also...... well, I'm sorry to say, but even with Aldi-sama's assistance, we can't guarantee your personal safety with the D-class and those people over there....... And--"
[slightly timid] "B-but... [Talent] Hero-sama. I thought there wouldn’t be any problem with Aldi-sama's escort--"

Has flaming red hair, shining golden eyes, and wolf ears.

He has a cold attitude in the present setting of the story, but there's a flash-back sequence where he is a little bit more of a light-hearted person before his younger twin brother, Henry, dies.
Plays large role in Volume 4.
[coldly] "--No. Don't allow it."
“Henry, I brought breakfast. Let's eat."
[in mental anguish, pulling his hair out] "I helped people as a hero to wash away my sins. If I acted out the ideal that Henry wanted, I was able to forget the reality, if even for a moment. The nightmares I had were of the days when we talked about becoming knights together. It was a precious memory for me… or it was supposed to be."

A large, imposing beastman who serves as an aid to Lucas. He is very large and has a loud voice. Depicted as more of a gentlemanly character despite his ferocious appearance. Also appears for two chapters in Volume 4.
[reprimanding] "Young Master, this is not Forte Independent Country. I told you not to trouble other people!"
"'Bite down on the throat and win the victory, even if you lose both arms and both legs,’ is the teaching of the Order. Only by exerting all your strength and dying is defeat permitted.
[pulling Maya along; speaking to Maya then to himself] "--If I don't do it like this, you won't come! Just walk quickly! ......Seriously, why is a problem child like this in the party..."

A white mage that fights Eve. She and Eve attended the Magic Academy together, and Maya wanted to be friends with Eve. Since Eve was so busy with her studies, she never noticed Maya, which caused Maya to resent her. In Volume 3, a battle takes place between the two where Eve defeats Maya. Eve apologizes for not noticing her and the two become friends. Maya also appears for two chapters in Volume 4.
[being pulled along] "--Hey! I said I'll walk on my own, don't pull me!"
[shaky, desperately trying to get Eve to remember her] "Hey, hey, you were always in first place on the tests, and I was second place... Maya Katze Violeta, remember..."
[trying to sound upset even though she’s happy] “But even though we've become friends, I'm still your rival! It's my party that will defeat the Demon King first!”

In addition, it is said that clairvoyance has the power to ‘connect one's destiny with a loved one’. There is no magic principle or anything, it is guided like a beautiful story. It's definitely what you could call destiny."
