Jay is a man in his late 20's who loves caving. He's a thrill-seeker and loves the danger that comes with caving. That is until he went to the Horton Mine with his friend Evan. The lines you see above are said while he is retelling the events of that day. He is pretty much in a constant state of paranoia and has a slight stutter. In line 3, Jay is no longer the man he used to be. The cave has taken over which is why the audio will sound glitched. These lines would be read normally and then edited later.
"Not a single shred of evidence that something has ever been alive in this damn cave. No bones, no markings on the wall, no droppings left by animals. Nothing. This was supposed to be an old mine, but nothing hinted towards it. No old tracks or ore carts. No wooden supports holding up the cold, cave walls. I felt like I was going crazy. I still do..."
