I Accidentally Kidnapped A Princess! - Audio Drama Casting

About The Series:
This is a short, grounded, 7-part, non-narrated audio drama, consisting of 15-25min episodes. It takes place in the present (so, 2025/2027).
This is meant to be a lighter, slightly silly series.
Desc:
Thomas Reed needs money; quick. And the most appropriate and logical way of getting it? Involve yourself in an illegal operation where those involved kidnap people in exchange for ransom money. And on the day of the royal wedding, Tom begins his first and (hopefully) last job. Though, everything goes slightly off-kilter when Tom realises he has kidnapped the wrong person. He’s kidnapped someone far more important.
For this project, casting has already begun and many actors on many different platforms have already begun auditioning and roles have already been filled. So be sure to make your audition as good as possible and make sure to audition for a wide range of roles!
No casting will occur until the ~12th of October when auditioning closes so you do not need to worry about roles closing until the 12th!.
To Anyone Auditioning:
Please do at least 3 takes per line in varying ways, that gives me a better sense of if you would work for the role. One way of doing the line might work than others!
Please only minimally edit your auditions. No effects, echoes, EQ changes, etc. It's also recommended you don't cut down your lines, but if you'd prefer to, then feel free.
As long as you do 1 take of the original line, you are free to Ad-Lib! Just be sure to keep the essence/meaning of the original line intact.
“//” in audition lines mean that the line is actually 2 separate lines, but I put them together for the audition as I thought it would work better.
Characters are ordered from largest/most important, to the smallest/least important. They are also indicated with “Main”, “Large”, “Bigish”, “Medium”, “Small” and “Extra” tags. Below is how you can differentiate them:
“Main” roles are in most episodes and often have the most lines in an episode.
“Large” roles are more comparable to “secondary-characters”, usually characters that have their own story going on alongside the main characters’, a story we cut to from time to time. Are in most episodes and take up a considerable chunk of the episode they’re in.
“Bigish” roles are for characters that are only in ~50% of the episodes and usually only have a few scenes in the episodes they’re a part of. They are recurring. They play an important role in the story as a whole.
“Medium” roles are for characters that are in 3 or less episodes, don’t have too much to say, but still have an important role in the story as a whole.
“Small” roles involve characters that are in one or 2 episodes and only have a few lines to say. They don’t hugely contribute to the story, but they beef out the world and make it feel more realistic.
“Extra” is simply just one-off lines, characters that are very much in the background, often indicated with “walla”. They help a scene sound alive. Often, I get actors cast for other roles to fill in for these.
If you are cast, you will be required to use Discord or Emails for communication with me and also for submitting lines.
I have produced many productions in the past, including "Doctor Who: Trust15", "Mists of Time", and "King Horatio". The only reason I bring this up, is because I know it can be rather annoying when you audition for something, get cast, do all your lines and the thing you applied for never gets made. This will be made!

He is the leading investigator into the kidnapping this series revolves around. He is one of the best there is in the entire department; having had many promotions in a very short span of time, simply for his amazing work. He also has another promotion for the role of DSI lined up very soon.
He takes absolutely no crap. He has his way of doing things and that is final, if anyone argues, they’re off the team. As such, he talks rather dryly and doesn't often joke around.
This character has a "side-gig" which requires them to change their voice (specifically when they are on the phone) to hide their identity. He changes his voice to a cockney/East-End/kentish voice, just something that sounds more scary or intimidating (though if you can do a different accent that you think will work, you can try it out).

Brian is rather subordinate, of a nervous disposition, especially around his boss: Adrian. Never argues back with Adrian, though he does often have doubts, privately, with Adrian’s direction.
He is a nice person, and that should reflect in his performance. He should seem approachable and kind. He only wants to do the right thing and get to the truth. But, this can cause him to be easily told what to do.

She is very much like Brian. She always follows orders, but is slightly more vocal about her disagreements with rules she has been given or tasks she’s been set. She is very quick to blame herself if anything goes wrong, especially with The Princess, since she feels she has a responsibility to look after her, and also cares and sympathises with The Princess a lot.

Very arrogant and self-absorbed. He looks down on almost anyone and thinks he knows better than everyone. He is not very well-liked by the public whatsoever, due to his dismissive attitude towards what he calls “commoners” and very questionable actions in his past.
He is one of the many in the royal family that is forcing The Princess to marry him. Not out of any romantic feelings, but rather to turn attention away from him, and towards The Princess, who has been made to be very well-liked by the public.
When The Princess goes missing, he only worries about what his parents will think and how his reputation will be affected. So, he tries to sort out the situation alone, going down more… Illegal route than he should.

Honestly, after the last royal wedding we had some years ago, I’m a bit wedding’ed out!
Researchers are still attempting to determine whether this is an AI generated video, and we have requested information from the palace, with no reply. No one seems to know what’s going on, but one thing is for certain; this is a major misstep by the police-force who should never have allowed a video of this type to spread as far as it did.
I think the wedding is the least of the issues!

Always tries to get close to those in his department, and feel like one of the team. He doesn’t want to be seen as superior to those ranked below him. When anything goes right for those below him, he always cheers them on, and always tries to give them good opportunities when they arise. He is a very slightly odd and eccentric character.
He feels some pressure from those higher-up to get results and so often entices people with rewards for completing a case on time. For instance, in exchange for promotion, he gets someone to hurry up with a kidnapping case.
The higher ups are trying to push retirement for him, so he is trying to find someone he trusts to fill in for the DSI role.

Reads the vows for the “happy couple”, but also finds himself getting annoyed, slowly over time, by the Prince’s constant nagging. He keeps his cool for a very long time, trying to stay professional, but he does eventually lose his temper. Though it’s not ever explosive anger.
For this role, you need to have a confident ability in improvising, as this character does talk a lot in the background and not all of it is scripted.

I think this is awful! Poor Alexandria! I heard the police are keeping an eye on the kidnapper who’s in hospital, but honestly, I think they should’ve just let him die! Who knows what Alexandria went through!
