Medium Role

Male. ~65yo.
British English RP or another not-strong accent.

Always tries to get close to those in his department, and feel like one of the team. He doesn’t want to be seen as superior to those ranked below him. When anything goes right for those below him, he always cheers them on, and always tries to give them good opportunities when they arise. He is a very slightly odd and eccentric character.

He feels some pressure from those higher-up to get results and so often entices people with rewards for completing a case on time. For instance, in exchange for promotion, he gets someone to hurry up with a kidnapping case.

The higher ups are trying to push retirement for him, so he is trying to find someone he trusts to fill in for the DSI role.

The sides they read from:

  • I told them about your success, on your behalf, DCI. Hope you don’t mind. That was one excellent arrest you made today. Hardy-Harris has been on the police radar for a very long time.

  • Well, from what I gather, you’ve been doing much more than that since you’ve been here, Adrian. (to crowd) Alright, everyone, you’ve had your fun!

  • Listen, son. I haven’t got much time left in the force. The higher ups are wanting shot of me. Tryna push retirement. // It’s alright, I’ve been feeling my age, anyway. Point is… I was hoping to recommend you to be in my place.
