Hello Everybody! I literally got into HypMic like last week but I'm down to do this already! Essentially, I've already written English lyrics for the first half of this song, but I wanted to see if there were enough people interested in covering it before I committed to finishing the rest of it because JEEZ, this is really hard.
First things first, this is not intended to be a continuous cover group at present. I just want to do this one cover, and depending on how well that goes, and whether we'll be getting any more karaoke tracks, may want to continue? But school is going to kick my butt after this, so probably not, haha.
Although HypMic's story centers on 12 guys, these auditions aren't exclusive to male rappers! Anyone can audition, and will be selected based on how well their voice suits the character and rapping style, regardless of gender.
Since this may be the only cover we do, make sure that the style you audition with is suited for the rapping done in this song. We all love Ramuda's deep voice, but he doesn't actually use it in this song, so probably don't audition for him while using your bassiest register, lol.
While we're talking auditions, please submit audio of you rapping! Any song in any language is fine, but again, try to exemplify how your voice and flow are comparable to that of whoever you're auditioning for! Showing off some speed if you're auditioning for Saburo or Jyuto will really help you out! Those auditioning for technical positions (art, video editing, mixing), please submit a link to previous work that you've done!

And that's all! I'll maybe audition for some of these myself, but I'm not gonna auto-cast myself, and may just try to fill in for any roles that don't have any/many auditions. Especially considering that I'll probably end up doing the art/mixing/video making myself if those roles aren't filled, I would love to not also have to do both/all of the above lol (THO I WILL)
