Hypnosis Mic Art Book
Project Overview
The Hypnosis Mic Art Book will be a project for creating a fan art book/zine based around the Hypmic characters! I am hoping to have at least 30 people be cast!
As of now, the project will not include printing and selling the book by paper copy, and will only be sold online as a PDF or something similar, if there is enough interest, hard copies of the art book will be made and printed. Whether it is only sold electronically or in print as well, the profits will be distributed evenly among the contributors to the art book.
Although this is an art book that is in some ways similar to a zine, there will not be writing or comic like elements to it. This will be fully artwork only, and no stories will be incorporated, unless you would like to include a reasoning or events in the artwork you create for the art book.
I myself will be doing parts of the art book as well. I will most likely format the book, unless I open up applications for graphic design and formatting, and I will most likely create the cover art of it, or at least do part of it. I may also do some of the main artwork if there are not enough people in one of the divisions.
I have colour coded the roles based on what division it is/what the role is:
- Green = foreword page/epilogue page artist
- Red = Buster Bros
- Blue = MTC
- Yellow = Fling Posse
- Grey = Matenrou
- Dark grey = TDD
General Requirements:
- Please be committed to the project. You must keep deadlines and it is preferable if you are active in the chat or discord made for this project. Do not sign up if you know you have no time for the project. In the case that someone does not do their part, I will have backups/understudies ready.
- Please do not get mad and have a fit if you do not get in. I assure you that I'm sure everyone's artwork and examples will be amazing, but I will have to choose only a limited amount of people, and not everyone can get in. I am sorry if you don't get in, but there's always another time if I host something like this later.
- You are allowed to apply for multiple sections, and may get multiple parts. If you do, I will dm you if you can do all of the parts you got in for, and then you can tell me yes or no. If you can’t, let me know which part you’d want out of the ones you got in for, so that I can pick other artists for the ones you cannot do. Be sure to note that if you agree to do multiple parts, you must be able to finish all of them and not slack off!
- No NSFW please! This art book is meant to be PG and for all ages.
- I apologise, but traditional art is not allowed. Digital art is more cleaner to see, especially for an art book, and it would be difficult to incorporate traditional pieces into it. If you do traditional art, you may do a sketch and a digital artist can finish the rest though, just note it on your application!
- There will be group chats for this, and a discord with fun events and project discussions for the project members! Please have either Discord or an Instagram account to be able to join project group chats on. Having both would be better!
- Remember to have fun! This project, although being for profit, is meant to be a fun collaborative experience for artists in the Hypnosis Mic fandom, and I hope that everyone in the project will be able to meet new people and enjoy working on it.

The introduction or foreword artist will be creating the artwork for the foreword page. This artwork will consist of the entire main cast of Hypnosis Mic. It does not have to be detailed, and it can have half bodies or chibis. It is more preferred if the background for this page is simple and that there is some blank area for text, as there will be text similar to a preface to the art book on top of the artwork.

If you get in here, you will be in charge of one, or more if you wish to take on more than one, art piece regarding the members of Buster Bros. There will likely be certain themes, but will overall be fairly loose, and if there are themes, they will be chosen as a group after the artists are selected.
