Project Overview
READ BEFORE YOU AUDITION!
Important: THIS IS AN ASMR PROJECT, NOT A DUB! You aren't meant to yell, talk normally, or scream most these lines. The main objective of Hush Me ASMR is to calm listeners, or even put them to sleep! Please remember this before auditioning.
Line Format: For most the given audition lines, the first line will mainly be an intro, so feel free to talk at whatever level or tone you see fit, but the second or third line should be read in a tone that will calm viewers in some way. Keep this in mind when auditioning, or even being casted. This is VERY important! For "Improvise" roles, this is especially important, as those roles will tell us whether or not you understand this concept.
Voices: Most role's descriptions will tell us what voice or tone we seek, so please only apply for roles you are positive you can strike well in!
Quality: If you don't have proper "quality" equipment, or a well treated room to record your lines in, your audition will sadly automatically be rejected. This is requested by our audio team, as it will take too much time to fix. When recording lines, please audition with the near best, or best quality you are able to deliver.
Payment: THIS IS A STARTUP PROJECT! These videos will be uploaded weekly, and until the channel gains revenue, we sadly will not have the funds to forward payments- (unless your video gains traction enough where we are able to send an amount of profits toward you.) We seek talent that we can promote, and hopefully bring back after the channel brings in revenue. Think of this as a trial run while we try to find a VA/s that we can keep sticking to the channel for more roles. Until the channel brings in revenue, we offer promotion in all video bios, allowing you to link any and all socials you would like to help boost your careers!
Submitting Demos: Please don't. We need to hear how you deliver the lines we give so we know you'll be able to handle the role!

No specific voice is too necessary, so freestyle different ranges! Keep it a little awkward and nervous, as if you're confessing your feelings "over the phone." Remember to keep it soothing.

Smooth, quite, and soft voice. Speak shyly and nervously, as tension build down, then you can loosen up as you warm up. lines 1 & 2 should be spoken shyly, and line 3 should be when you calm your nerves.
