How To Train Your Dragon Intro Fandub
Project Overview
This is a for-fun fandub of the intro scene of How to Train Your Dragon. I can’t find the full thing on YT, but this covers most of it:

If cast, I’ll give you access to the full scene through Google Drive, as well as the script if necessary.
The full scene is just over 6 minutes long. As this is a passion project for a friend, all the main roles have been cast, leaving us with 5 minor roles.
I’m going to be piecing it all together, and then the final product will be posted on YT once I figure out how to avoid the copyright detection.
As expectation management, because this is a for-fun fandub, I’m not going to be messing with the video. So if your character is speaking on-screen, I need you to do your best to match the timing of the original actor - because I’m not going to be modifying the lip flaps on the original. It’s going to be up to you to get it to match, and if you can’t get it close enough, I’m going to bounce it back to you until you do.
Be warned. :P
Also, obvs, bonus points if you take that into account w/ your auditions. ;)One note on the voices: these are vikings, whose village is currently under attack by dragons. This means I need a Scottish accent (or a generic viking variant, if you can pull it off), and I need SO MUCH ENERGY. YELLING VIKINGS!! So keep that in mind. That said, be very careful of clipping. Yelling shouldn't reduce your audio quality.

Angry viking dude! Accent is important here, b/c he has to say all the names of the dragons. Also important here is timing; he has the most time on-screen of these roles, so your timing to match the original will be important to match the lip-flaps. He has four lines total, so I'll need to connect with you after you're cast.

Gronckles, Nadders, Zipplebacks. Oh, and Hoark saw a Monstrous Nightmare.

What are you doing here?! [Asking why Hiccup is out, while running to fight]
FIRE! [telling people a house has caught on fire]
NIGHT FURY!
Viking dude, perplexed by Hiccup. These lines are slightly less yell-y, but still said in the heat of battle over exploding houses and freaking out sheep.
What are you doin' out?
Hiccup, where are you going?!
Yelling viking dude. In more of a leadership role, so his lines are authoritative.
Hoist the torches!
They found the sheep!
Fire! [telling the others to fire the catapult]
Angry viking dudes. Technically two; Burnthair only has one line, but is named in script - so I combined him w/ Viking 3. If you could get the first line to sound like a different guy from the second two, bonus points - but it's not a deal breaker if you can't.
Get inside! [irritated at Hiccup for being out, said by Burnthair]
Augh! [just got clocked by a heavy bola]
Come back here! [telling Hiccup to come back inside]
There are only two lines spoken by ladies in this entire scene, so I figured I'd combine them into one role. Phlegma's line, the first one, needs to sound older, authoritative - yelling viking style.
Get back inside! [Phlegma, yelling at Hiccup]
Alright, let's go! [Instructing the other teens]
