House of X (X-men) Comic Dub - Round 2 Casting
Project Overview
Hi Everyone!
This project will be a comic dub of the House of X/Dawn of X series. I would like to continue this series throughout the Dawn of X run so I ask that if you audition, you are interested in a long term project! These comic dubs will be uploaded to youtube.
Due to the need of many characters throughout the series, I am only casting for the first issue of the Powers of X. Description of this issue below:
Several ambassadors arrive at the Jerusalem Habitat, responding to a telepathic message sent by Charles Xavier to recognize a new sovereign nation of Mutants, called Krakoa. The ambassadors are met by the newly appointed Krakoan ambassador Magneto.
Near the sun, spacecraft approach the station known as "The Forge," home base of a human group called Orchis. Orchis is the self-proclaimed "last hope" for humanity, made up of various members of human organizations such as A.I.M., S.H.I.E.L.D., Hydra, Alpha Flight, and others, allied to prevent the extinction of homo sapiens to mutants.
Meanwhile, a team made up of Mystique, Sabretooth, and Toad infiltrate the base of Damage Control searching for information in the databases. While they get what they searched for, Sabertooth maims several guards in the chaos and is eventually captured by the Fantastic Four.

Natalia Vollock was a Red Sky operative and a member of the U.N. Security Council who was planted as part of the ambassador entourage invited to Xavier's Jerusalem Habitat. She along with the other member's were greeted by the Stepford Cuckoos and Magneto who took over the task of giving the ambassadors a tour through the various biomes of Krakoa.
As they came to the end of the tour, Sophie read the minds of the delegates including Vollock's and conveyed to Magneto that they were no ambassadors at all but were sent there to spy on the mutants to determine the validity of the situation.
Vollock's decision was already made even before the tour began. She would have never agreed to their terms, and now knowing that the others would, she expressed that if this is what they would become then it might be best if they were replaced.

Personally, I'd settle for a bit of predictable and a good night's sleep. Unfortunately, these things... I cannot see happening.
It is a problem. You think so?
Karima Shapandar was an Indian National Police officer who has been infected with Omega Sentinel technology and has become a machine equipped with state-of-the-art technology aimed at exterminating mutants. Thanks to the efforts of Professor Charles Xavier and Magneto, she overcame her lethal programming and was able to put use of her Sentinel devices to help mutantkind.
Eventually, Shapandar became a member of a controversial team of X-Men led by Rogue. Her association with the X-Men led her to have her systems corrupted and possessed by different antagonists, namely the Marauder Malice and the primal villain Arkea.
Regardless, the Omega Sentinel was able to fight her molesters and side with the X-Men to combat them.
However, her infection still led her to turn against mutants. Supplanted by a complete machine version of herself who had experienced mutant dominance over machines, the Omega Sentinel was responsible for sparking the creation of Orchis, an anti-mutant powerful organization which influentially attacks mutants both directly and indirectly.

I'm not surprised, Doctor. Those are the types of mistakes men usually make when being overly aggressive.
Which is odd. I don't see any machines. I see no brothers. I see no sisters.
Understood.
Jean Pierre Kol was a private sector C.E.O. of a pharmaceutical company and a member of the U.N. Security Council who was planted as part of the ambassador entourage invited to Xavier's Jerusalem Habitat. He along with the other member's were greeted by the Stepford Cuckoos and Magneto who took over the task of giving the ambassadors a tour through the various biomes of Krakoa.
As they came to the end of the tour, Sophie read the minds of the delegates and conveyed to Magneto that they were not ambassadors at all with the exception of Kol and were sent there to spy on the mutants to determine the validity of their new found nation-state and its relationship to humanity.
Kol was on-board with Xavier's proposal and considered it a win-win if it allowed the people of France access to the variety of drugs produced by the Flowers of Krakoa.

Ambassador, you look tired. How was your flight?
Excuse me, but... When are we actually going to go to Krakoa?
Its, how they say, a win-win.

Can anyone travel through a gateway, Ms. Grey?
Look! That's Professor Xavier. Over there, with that hairy guy!
