Project Overview
About the project
Hoshi is an original animation series featuring anthropomorphic characters and the genre for the project is comedy, action and a little bit of fantasy. It's a project that's been in development for over a year now.
Story
In the city of Imaga, 4 characters with different personalities live their daily lives but has one thing in common, gaming. In their timeline, gaming has become even more advanced that they are able to create things in a virtual space IRL and these games are often held in stadiums only, most of the time as tournaments. The characters play in a tournament for fun, however in the middle of the tournament, a mysterious black figure emerges and gives a sinister warning and causes blackouts all around the city which interferes with their daily lives. Hoshi and his friends then work together to try and unravel the mysterious events that are occurring in the city.
Current progress
The project is currently in the pre-production phase, so I'm making the thumbnails, storyboards, animatic etc. So far the opening and script are complete.
What am I looking for?
I'm looking for voice actors who can bring out the best of the characters personalities with a good clear voice and mic quality.
Are any roles paid?
My channel and patreon is pretty small so I don't have much to offer. There is no compensation that can be offered, but you will also not be held to any professional standard. The least I will do is give credit to everyone involved in the project in the credits and in posts. If it goes well though I might gift a game on steam or something lol XD

Check is one of the secondary characters in the story. Being successful in his career as a world famous director, story writer, actor and musician he’s always in high demand but is very relaxed and carefree when he’s not doing any work. Throughout the story he supports Hoshi and his friends by using his position as a celebrity. He act's mischievous, energetic and is just a party animal who acts fabulous all the time but has a serious side when he's working. He does say a few dirty comments a few times as well. He doesn't have a squeaky high pitched voice as you would expect from a mouse either. An English/British accent for the character would be preferred but if you think there's another voice you can do for the character you can include that in your audition.

Noscrap is a support character in the story and is the boss of his own private company. In the main story he acts as the boss of Sirens and Euans group and provides them wisdom whenever they need help. Noscrap is a very serious and dignified person. He's Intelligent but doesn’t enjoy the company of others unless its related to work. Has no tolerance for crime or evil deeds so he doesn't joke around.
Life has its twists and turns but murder only leads you down one direction.
[Seriously] Listen up Euan I've got a very important mission for you. [Pause] Fetch me some boba tea.
Police stations all over the city have assigned their best officers on this case but all of them have come back empty handed. It's gotten so bad that the mayor of the city have turned to smaller companies like us to solve the case.
Jake is one of the other secondary characters in the story. He lived a very social life during high school but never really had a strong connection with anyone until Hoshi came along and met Jake in the library playing games and helped him through his studies by making Jake focus on his work. In return he helped Hoshi with physical education. Since then Jake became Hoshis best friend and developed a major crush on him. Throughout the story he supports Hoshi and dedicates his time trying to confess to him. Jake is the straight-man of the series and delivers a lot of punch-lines so he can be pretty loud sometimes.
Hey I'm not a simp! Just because I protect and complement Hoshi all the time doesn't mean I'm - oh wait...
There's no need to worry! As long as your honest nothing can go wrong!
I am telling you Hoshi, whatever you do, DO NOT enter that club with Check it's a trap.
