R.L. Stine's GOOSEBUMPS™ One Day at HorrorLand - Audiobook Adaptation
Project Overview
We are a passionate and dedicated team working on the creation of audiobook adaptations in the style of the classic Goosebumps audio cassettes from the 90s, which include Attack of the Mutant, Deep Trouble, The Haunted Mask II, A Night in Terror Tower, Revenge of the Lawn Gnomes, A Shocker on Shock Street, & Welcome to Dead House.
📚 Current Project: One Day at HorrorLand - Audiobook Adaptation
Story Blurb:
The Morris family got lost trying to find Zoo Gardens Theme Park. But that's okay. They found another amusement park instead. It's called HorrorLand.
In HorrorLand there are no crowds. No lines. And the admission is free. It seems like a pretty cool place.
But that was before that heart-stopping ride on the deadly Doom Slide. And that terrifying experience in the House of Mirrors.
Because there's something weird about the rides in HorrorLand.
Something a little too creepy. A little too real…
🎭 Requirements:
Skilled voice actors
Ability to bring characters to life with expressive and engaging narration
Previous experience in audiobook narration is a plus but not mandatory
A decent quality microphone is preferred to ensure clear audio
💰 Compensation:
As a small crew with a limited budget, this is an unpaid opportunity. We are a group of long-dedicated fans looking to collaborate for the love of creating nostalgic and thrilling audiobooks.
📜 Script:
There is a script available, which is simply an abridged version of One Day at HorrorLand, divided into two parts for ease of narration.

The Horrors are the eerie, monstrous staff of HorrorLand, appearing as green creatures with bulging, yellow eyes that glow ominously. Two sharp horns curl from their foreheads, and they have long, clawed fingers. They wear ragged, dark purple and green uniforms.
Voice Type: Goblin-like, relatively deep, with a raspy, sinister tone.
