Hogwarts Continued: Isolde and the Keys of Fate(Minecraft Roleplay)

Stubborn, cunning, resourceful(uses her abilities to help out those who give her aid) even though she can be cocky, she is curious on what her future lies on and what will happen? She tends to be scared and insecure toward others due to this rough self image she has for herself. Even though she presents herself well to the public, Isolde is still a human being attempting and following family expectations. So what else could other people ask from her?

Personality: Cold-hearted, courageous, short-tempered, and determined. He only cares to show his warmth with his housemates and close friends, Hagrid, and animals. Anyone who he sees as a true family. Taunts Iso through rivalry and jealousy of what he sees externally about her family. 

Backstory:His father was animagus as well as an alumnae of Hogwarts. He studied with Professor McGonagall and was a prefect of Gryffindor, while his mother attended Beauxbatons Academy of Magic. Though she unfortunately passed away when Alan was only 5 years old. He mourned silently for his mother but never seemed to cry through the funeral. Afterwards his father started to become strict years later, though there were few points in those 7 years he had fun with his son. His father was known as a workaholic in the Ministry in the department of Magical Accidents and Catastrophes. Alastair is aiming to attempt to get on the Quidditch team in his first year such as the famous Harry Potter, then become a prefect like his father. His animagus is a black wolf, but he rarely shows it around school. Heading to the Enchanted Forest or Hagrid’s whenever he needs a breather from school or stress that’s bothering him. Alastair goes to Hagrid because his father went to him during his school days, he also is the caretaker of the magical creatures. Sometimes to seek advice on life or whenever his family is leaning stress on him. He is an only child, alot of pressure is placed on him but his mother tried to peel it away a few times. Sometimes, he wishes to see the stars and is very intrigued by the thought of stars. When he runs at night in his animagus form he lays on the soft grass gazing wishing for a new perspective. A majority of his free time is spent studying or hiding away. 

Personality: Bubbly, cunning, intelligent, modest, sly, loyal. 

Backstory:Ophelia is known as a social butterfly, getting along with everyone and getting all the types of rumors or information about others. Her family life is sweet and kind, through her family being both wizards, within her childhood she always found it easy to make friends or…acquaintances. She never seemed to feel connected to any of her friends, all were interested in her, yet was never interested in them. At first she would talk and always welcome others to friend circles, it was hard to pass Ophelia. Many are interested in her and put a set of expectations more than what she can see in herself, which causes her to tumble and crack under pressure of overthinking. After meeting Isolde, she learns facts about their friendship and how she truly feels without having any white lies. Easton is more suspicious from his background, but eventually gives in and becomes closer. Ophelia’s family is more secretive than the public believes which creates tension or a facade over Ophelia’s character. Many don’t believe Ophelia belongs in Slytherin yet, they don’t understand who she really is underneath.

Personality: Brave, witty, arrogant, temperamental, sincere, tolerant. Zenith sticks to Alastair's side even though Alastair doesn't see him as a friend at first but grows to have a fond relationship with him as time goes on. Since they are childhood friends, Zenith is a jokester who goes to make friends.

Background: Due to neglect  as the middle child within his family, he is tended to put pressure on himself to either turn out like his older sister, Lyra(6th year) or  follow his second oldest brother, Derek: a troublemaker that brings mischief where he goes and has a reputation for pranking professors.(5th year) Zenith falls under pressures from the family but uses his comedic abilities to smile and laugh. Putting away this pressure to be anything but himself sticking with Alastair since they were 7. While he was sitting alone reading a book, Zenith walked up and introduced himself at first even though Alan was suspicious at first, adjusted to his presence. Then shortly 2 years after all the bugging became his friend, Alan started changing to be more temperamental, more quiet, as well as hostile from fruitless attempts from Zenith presenting a challenge to other boys or girls. Even though sometimes Zenith seems like a jerk to Isolde, it’s all for Alan because he was the only friend, up until Hogwarts that seems to connect. He takes being a part of Gryffindor as this shield and family that he loves to be a part of and not frame himself into being like his sister nor brother. 

Personality: Broad-minded, articulate, nervous, straightforward, ruthless, secretive, and genuine 

Description: Dark brown haired, his hair parted more toward the right. Light green eyes.

Backstory: Being within the line of the Parkinsons’ could be stressful at times, Easton is the grandchild of Pansy Parkinson. He is known as one to not be trusted due to the Second Wizard War as his family is one of the Sacred Twenty Eight. From his grandmother’s past mistakes, he attempts to pick up the pieces. East can be trusted with few things, despite not talking much or saying much about his past. He tends to overanalyze his surroundings from insecurities, but Isolde and Ophelia are the first to accept him, even if he tends to get them into trouble. While he couldn’t trade this for the world, as he continues within the story, he can be ruthless yet honest toward Isolde about particular things he has noticed and helps behind the scenes or investigating alone. 

Personality: Dependable, Honest, Open-minded, Chaotic, Fearful, Loud-mouthed. Even though both Alan and Zenith see Isolde as just an arrogant Slytherin, she sees the kindness Isolde can bring to her alone than with Alan and Zenith.

Backstory: Lining from the famous, “Harry Potter,” she resents that and follows in her own expectations to not fear others but to stand against it. Even if it means getting into danger for others, she can be quite reckless at times, except there are few times where she is fearful of certain things/creatures. Elle is open minded and dependable to both Alan and Zenith despite them acting more on their own accord to the point she would have to butt in. She sometimes sympathizes with Isolde from the amount of back talking coming from Alan but doesn’t seem to address it. Even though both Alan and Zenith see Isolde as just an arrogant Slytherin, she sees the kindness Isolde can bring to her alone than with Alan and Zenith. 

Personality: Flirtatious, Kind-hearted, Too trusting, easy-going, ignorant, secretive, good at noticing subtle differences physically

Backstory: Sorin had a kind background, a loving father and mother, but due to an illness his mother had passed away and he had been in grief. Though his father loved him to the best of his ability setting him up for success, even though there were times Sorin despised himself for not being the best, his father always found a way to make him see differently in others and himself. Which causes Sorin to excel in his academics and this year is his first year to try out for the quidditch team as a second year since he has looked forward to it. He continuously tries to do what he can and make his father proud, but without seeing his father during the school year. Sorin falls into doubt at first, using Isolde as a distraction and a true friend. Other than his mates that he parties with or makes conversation with. She begins to interest him in more ways than he could believe, from her wit and skills in not only school but as well as a competitor.

Personality: agreeable, benevolent, captivating, blunt, lazy, patronizing

Esmeray’s family is well known for their father being on one of the famous Quidditch teams, the Tutshill Tornados. Esmeray’s father is known for his rough behavior, sets an example to Esmeray and all her other siblings about how to be the best, and in a brutal way causes her to be blunt in many of her actions. As for knowing Ophelia a few years before Hogwarts, they slowly became friends through Ophelia wanting to be her friend. At first Esmeray saw not a care but slowly grew to like her, inheriting her benevolent personality. She captivated her parents for how to first start out on the broom as a kid, out of all 5 kids in her family. Esmeray is a middle child, but she follows behind her brothers, beating them in more ways than just 1. She finds studying captivating on certain topics except she isn’t prone to study or pursue a career other than to be on the Tutshill Tornados like her father. Which made her procrastinate more than ever on homework or schoolwork in general. Her mother was involved in the battle of Hogwarts and does her best to help Esmeray with anything she can as a supporting figure, despite her father and the rash amounts of training. One of the main people Esmer trusts most is her mother from her kind spirit and open minded nature. Though Esmer often always questions if there was no Quidditch what would she do with her life? That question has yet to be answered unless a certain snake changes that opinion…

Personality: Athletic, Smug, Supporting, Charismatic, Chatty, Sympathetic, Obnoxious

Backstory: Being the middle child is difficult at times, especially when you're put in a spot that is mainly questioned for your academic field. Even though both Isolde and Javid are more studious, Jorah is more prone to socially and making contact towards certain people and being involved in athletic related activities. Jorah hopes to get on the Quidditch team this year, after waiting all of year one with his friends. He is known for being charismatic and the charm he possesses to talk to others, many girls see him as a flirt but are charmed by his presence. Enough though he isn't the best with his education, he sure knows friends to help him to get to a higher level than alone. Jorah can be obnoxious at times from mood swings or even chatty. But he is sympathetic to help his family and friends which is an asset many wish to possess, Jorah helps Iso despite the amount of teasing and smug behavior because he cares to keep her happy and to be a proud older brother of his sister’s achievement which Javid couldn’t compare to. 

Personality: Over-critical, Tactless, posh, straightforward, idealistic, hard-working, semi-apathetic, patient

Backstory: Javid as the oldest is put at the highest pillar, even with his high academics the pressure builds and builds to where he has secluded himself from his own siblings. He never means to purposely do it but does it on his own accord because it’s his own nature. Javid aims for an idealistic and hard-working approach to get on the Ministry within the Department of Mysteries, due to his fascination with other unknown theories or paranormal species, he finds that a way to pass the time. He has high hopes, but is very over-critical toward his siblings on their own problems. And shuts them out as seeing them as a distraction toward his work, many people don’t associate with Javid within the first few years. But as years go on within Hogwarts, he grows to alter his personality in order to reach certain goals. Such as being Slytherin Prefect, by hiding away his true pursuits. Javid may not be a social butterfly like Jorah, but he can act to his own will and change himself in order to get what is his. Even if it means taking it from his siblings before they have yet the chance because the older sibling shouldn’t always take care of the younger ones. So how would they ever learn the realities that come with life at all?

Personality: harsh, sweet, tomboy, assertive, disciplined, hearty, interpersonal, hot-blooded

Backstory: Kaiya can be very assertive when it comes to doing any activities at all or assignments to be precise. Even though most Ravenclaws tend to work alone, she sees more of a benefit to be with others than alone because it allows her to get a better experience. Kaiya may be harsh at times or even hot-blooded because she cares about many people such as her friends, and own relationships. She is disciplined within many situations, though she puts others over herself not allowing her to think for herself or express her own pains and struggles within her family life. Kaiya is always the one on the receiving end until Jorah changes that and allows her to express herself with him alone but slowly reaches out more and more to her friends. She may be a tomboy but it’s only in her own ideals to not be like how most girls are but to switch up the system, with her cheerful heart she always brings a shine to everyone’s day, some more than others..

Personality: sporty, aloof, persistent, friendly, comical, chill, lazy, insensitive

Backstory: Darling can be very known for her actions and precedes to help Javid many ways because they are best friends. At first Darling didn’t exactly like Javid because he always seemed to achieve more than Darling could ever juggle. She adds comical commentary here and there and is friendly and social with other students other than Gryffindor, but can be insensitive to others needs and neglects it, casting it aside for another to pick up. She is one of the keepers on the Quidditch team as well as captain as of this year and keeps up with it daily with exercise and fitness, as speed is needed inorder to catch through the quaffle. Due to Javid being a hardworking, overcritical arse at certain moments such as EXAMs, Darling slacks more than she should but goes for the average set of criteria to pass and prefers to chill and stays distant as a way to break away from stress. 

Personality: honest, humble, dependent, paranoid, studious, sensitive, unrealistic

Backstory: Reading from her novels, Ameer is a bookworm at heart. From a caring family who supports her pursuits to be a novelist one day, she is studious to become illustrious within her work. Though…some of her expectations tend to be unrealistic with points she tries to pitch. Ameer isn’t exactly as socially active as Jorah, Weylin, or Ivan. She is quite sensitive in letting others in but tries to be charismatic toward all and helps in any way he possibly can. Even though honesty can be a blessing it can also cause paranoia within her life from previous life experiences, Ameer can be dependent within his studies in work to do his best within Hogwarts. Maybe there is more than just her simple books that he loves to read? Or possibly someone she could share that knowledge with?

Personality: muscle-head, athletic, idiotic, super friendly, loud, aggresive

Backstory: Weylin doesn’t come from a prestigious or well-known family of wizards, since he is muggleborn himself. Due to how loud and friendly he is, he charged headstrong into Diagon Alley to see the world he was meant for but never got to see before. The first person he met in Diagon Alley was Ivan Wilmont, and they seemed to get along really fast, in fact they walked together ever since, and are even the two beaters on the quidditch team. Ivan and Weylin seem to share one mind, which is at times amusing to Jorah and the rest in their friend group, but also is an embarrassment to the other Ravenclaws. Weylin is a bit more on the aggressive side, and is a bit more idiotic than his newfound brother, but his connection with Ivan has made him even stronger because of their faults.

Personality: articulate, illustrious, tough, headstrong, abrasive, foolish, opinionated

Backstory: Ivan has spent a lot of time alone in his room drawing, but he was never as antisocial as one would expect. In fact, he came across as really energetic and headstrong because of that unregulated potential energy stored up from drawing all day. As soon as Weylin McKoule got in his face and introduced himself, Ivan was able to match that energy spontaneously, and he got along quickly with him. He is tough enough to be on the Quidditch team as a beater with Weylin, and is at times opinionated in the dorms, which makes Weylin respond to them as loud as usual. Sometimes Ivan can be abrasive to everyone around him if they catch him drawing alone, since he does not want to be disturbed, but when he is hanging out with Weylin, he can allow himself to be foolish around him and his other mates, which will often get disappointed sighs from their prefect. Ivan sees himself as Weylin’s other half, and he finds happiness in doing what he can’t, and is excited to see what Weylin can do to impress him.

Isolde's Father can be strict and bears a lot of mental stress toward all three of his children, yet remains composed in order to keep up the family's reputation. But will he change at all? Even despite the influences of their mother, Siridean can be headstrong( No wonder where Isolde and Javid got these traits from, luckily at least Jorah is the cool headed one.)

Personality: Kindhearted, Charismatic for her students and their learning experience. She can be quite strict outside of the classroom only when misconduct occurs from trouble students.

Neville..Neville.. Neville, it's the one and only Neville Longbottom but in his 60s! He still tends to be timid except he's teaching others to defend themselves at Hogwarts!

Woah, Woah, WOAH! Could this be a new Snape? Well...not exactly he can be moody and grumpy at times but he is more ruthless to his students for behavior. Let's just say his voice could be somewhat similar? 

You think for wands it’d be Garrick, but ever since the 2nd Wizarding War, his son Grey has taken that position! He is very enthusiastic as his father but is very charasmatic to Isolde and the rest of the cast. As he tries to help pave a path for this story.

Note: As of now, his only appearance will be in the first episode. But! Don’t worry he will be a reoccurring character, as for those wondering if they will still be needed after episode one. Sadly that’s all I’m able to say until we’ve finished with the deadline. Best of luck!!! <3
