Project Overview
Set in 5th-century Rome, this audio drama follows Eusebia, a young noblewoman who rejects a marriage to pursue a life of Christian devotion as Xenia, meaning "stranger."
With her loyal handmaidens, she flees her life, disguising herself and scattering her wealth to the poor. Their journey takes them from Rome to the island of Cos, and finally to Mylasa in Caria, where she founds a convent under the guidance of Paul, a humble monk who becomes a bishop.
Xenia’s tale is one of faith, sacrifice, and humility, culminating in her death and miraculous glorification, marked by a crown of stars above her convent.
