Project Overview
In an ancient world where magic and science intertwined, a rare genetic mutation emerged an anomaly that allowed certain humans to possess animal traits. This mutation, known as the "Beast's Gene," lay dormant in a few bloodlines, passing unnoticed for generations until an event known as the "Awakening" triggered its activation. The cause of the Awakening remains unknown. some believe it was a gift from the gods, others suspect dark alchemy or forbidden rituals.
As these hybrids appeared, blending human intelligence with animal like instincts and features , society became divided. Some saw them as abominations, others as superior beings, with the hybrids themselves caught between two worlds human and beast. Over time, they became rare and hunted by certain groups, their powers coveted by those who sought to destroy them.
A clandestine group of elite hunters, known as "The Silent Dawn." was formed to track down these hybrids, believing that their existence threatened the balance of nature and mankind. Despite this persecution, the hybrids have remained elusive, living in the shadows, protected by the very traits that make them so dangerous.
