Hey, Deadname: a trans podcast
Project Overview
A story of a trans boy finding his identity in a transphobic society, "Hey Deadname" is a project I've been working on for a little while now and would love to start to bring it to life!
it follows the story of Hugo, a young trans boy who has recently had to move to a new school after an... incident in the last one, and is now free to craft his image how he wants it, with a new look, new friends, and a few new minor struggles along the way - however, things start to go downhill after he runs into a particularly vicious ex, and finds himself powerless as this new world he's worked so hard for crumbles down around him, although he soon finds that actually, it's not so hard to deal with when you've got someone tumbling down with you.
requirements:
- No discrimination will be tolerated in this project (ex. transphobia, homophobia, racism, sexism, etc.) as I am a young trans lgbtq+ disabled creator.
- must be over 13
- must have discord
- other than that, just have fun!

well he seems really homophobic and he was dating Emily who’s a bitch. But then when I got beat up by Trevor he was walking past and made Trevor leave me alone and then last week I had to walk him home but then he came over to my house and we watched some tv and he seemed really nice so I don’t know

Closested gay man, trying to fit in with the jocks and stuff, he also kinda has abandonment issues and lives with his dad's ex wife which is quite telling of his current parental situation, he wants to protect other people but he also wants to protect himself, like he'll a punch but he wouldn't like, go out and say he's friends with someone who isn't popular but if someone tries to hurt that kid he'll protect them? He's tall, he's like a rugby jock, so.
he's also the love interest, yeah they end up together in the end it's a long story

[Danny and Hugo laugh]
Danny: wait do you think I have moobs

Danny: [mumbling] I dunno mag said

She/They
She is a feminist, she stands up for herself and others, she will beat the SHIT out of Danny. She's kind and caring but she'll smack a bitch if she has too, kinda like a mum. She's one of Hugo's first friends after joining his new school, she is also Bi.
[kinda pissed off] so this is the IT room which we’re not allowed to use [sarcastically] because we’re too irresponsible and Danny was playing the no internet game once, he got detention, he deserved it though him and his girlfriend seem to be the exception to the [mocking, baby-voice] “no bullying rule” and his girlfriend is so entitled [mocking, baby-voice] “because she’s the captain of the cheer squad and she’s dating the captain of the football team”

Morgan: okay but you guys can’t disappear at the party
Daisy: hey are you guys coming to the Westbrook game tomorrow
Hugo: yeah

Daisy: okay cool can we meet up there

mag is one of Hugos best friends and also Morgans boyfriend he is very protective of Morgan

Morgan is Hugo's friend they are also dating mag and host the game night each week

Emily is captain of the cheer squad she is dating Danny in the beginning but goes on to date Trevor and helps to out Hugo to the school
