Here’s to Heart and Mind: A New Musical

Hello! My name is Fish McDonald and I’m currently working on a modern deconstruction musical based on the myth of Cupid and Psyche.

I will be working as the librettist (playwright) and lyricist of this project but, since I am not a very good scorewriter, this is where you guys come in, since I am currently looking for a composer!

For the musical sound of this show my two main inspirations that I’ve had while writing it so far are the musicals Alice by Heart and Hadestown so it would be great if you guys are applying to give those two shows a listen.

For the record, this is my first musical and I am VERY MUCH an amateur so, I’m basically also looking for amateurs as well… I don’t need experts I just need people with a somewhat intermediate level of experience in composition.
