Project Overview

I started writing a story about how Herbert P. Bear came to hate the Elite Penguin Force (back in 2014) Though obviously my writing has improved since I started writing that and I had almost forgot about it. In my story Herbert despises the epf because they took away his brother and he can't say anything about it because he told himself that he would be strong, strong for his brother. Of course I'd really be interested in hearing how you think the characters should sound, so I will add a little bit of direction just to make sure everything has the same level of quality. 

update 1/5/2026, are people still interested in this project? I'd like to continue working on it, note that this is all just for fun.

  • Project update after about 6 years

    Hi everyone, just wanted to reach out to everyone and say that we're currently continuing work on the project. I'm also looking for a writer to bonce ideas off of and to improve the story, maybe rewrite some things , etc. You don't need any writing experience as this is all just for fun. But hopefully we'll be able to get this on youtube as some kind of project. Please let me know if your interested.

  • "Mine was really good Mom, that kelp was the best!" 

    Think of how a child would say this, 

  • "I'm glad you're safe but-- we /really/ shouldn't be here..." 

    Think of fear but trying not to show that you're scared. 

  • This will be improv, it should be a monologue about how much Herbert loves his brother, how much he cares about him. Nothing too out there, something a sibling would say to their younger sibling about how they're family and we care about each other. Try to fill up at least 30 seconds for this monologue, we have sound mixers for audio but please try not to have any background noise.

  • "That fish was great mom! Was that bass, trout? … well whatever it was, it was the best!" 

    Snowdrop takes after Herbert a great deal. For this line I want Snow to sound a bit higher pitch, something young ( if not possible try your best) but nothing to forceful. Though if you can't there are other roles.

  • "You know what, Herbert we should have a race! I'll make you a sled too" 


    The "sled" is an ice block that has been scratched by his claws. Treat this line like when a young child is making you something but they don't quite know what they're doing. Ex: be childish

  • "Hey, the snow really is soft"... And COLD!!" 

    Snow drop didn't realize that the snow he landed in is actually softer than he thought it would be, and he's also surprised at how cold it is against his fur. So really hit hard on this line.

    *This line is meant to show rockhopper's surprise ( can't say more to avoid spoilers) 

  • *reaction sounds* fighting with a sword , think parry and thrust, be creative

Looking for someone to assist with the writing , take the story and assist to make it more polished , such as dialog, coming up with new twists in the story, etc. As this story I wrote a long time ago and I want to improve upon it.
