Project Overview
Happiness can come in different forms to a person. Some may even find it in the most simplest of things. It can be a song someone plays on repeat that has them feel joy in their hearts, or it can come from the beauty of a crisp, blue, cloudless sky someone sees when they look up. Happiness is a beautiful feeling anyone can experience. Andrew felt that joy once; he remembers the feeling very well, actually. He remembers loving the way he was able to smile at the world, wishing every second would last longer. But it wasn’t the world he was in love with, nor the feeling...he was in love with HER.

The story revolves around Andrew and his depression. He wakes up one day, sick of it all and decides to finally do something about it. On his last day, he walks around the city, passing places where memories were once made; Happy memories. The film will jump back and forth between his present self and his past self where he was once happy and how his happiness revolved around Angel from the day he met her to the day he lost her. He mainly speaks in an apathetic tone.(flat/narrating) I truly felt what happiness was like. Where living no longer became something I dreaded, but instead, became something I wanted. Where the fear of waking up became something I looked forward to. Where sleep became a burden because of the seconds I spent away
(flat/narrating) I was in love with a woman, not for the way her name silenced my demons, but for the way she danced with my angels. I was in love with a woman, not for the way she smiled at me, but for the way she filled my world with love and passion, and made me smile back. I was in love...with her.
(melancholic/hurting) It was all my fault. I knew from the moment I started seeing things act differently, I’ve should’ve taken action. But instead, I stayed quiet and let things play through, hoping this was all some phase. I failed to pay attention and now she’s gone...and there’s nothing I can do about it anymore

Angel was the person to help Andrew through his depression. She was the light in his world and loved him dearly. Her looks change throughout the story as the time passes, and so do her feelings for him. She’s a very cheerful person who always speaks in a loving/soft tone.
(fondly) You should smile more. Even if you’re having a rough day, smiling once will lighten your mood. Plus, a smile looks great on you.
(fondly) When you’re sad, it’s okay to think about it, but you shouldn’t let the thoughts swarm you. Don’t give so much importance to them because they don’t matter. What does matter is that you’re here. Don’t think about the “back then,” think about the “now.”
(hurting) Andrew, please...I’m sorry, but this is for the best. You’ll always have a special place in my heart, but that’s all. (pause) I’m sorry, Andrew. I just don’t love you anymore...
