in the first line Henry is talking as a concerned father making a phone call for help him, he's not having a full blown panic attack but he is audibly distressed and worried.
In the second two lines, some time has passed, and Henry is a more cynical and depressed, he doesn't sound miserable, but is clearly exhausted and wants this to be over. However, he isn't rude or disrespectful, just hopelessly monotone.
