Project Overview

HELLHOUNDS is set in a sprawling metropolis infected with crime and VAMPIRES! In a desperate attempt to regain control of the city, the Government introduces the H.O.U.N.D program, a way for criminals to clean their record, and use their skills to become highly paid Vampire hunters.


At the heart of the story are Junior and Eddy, a father and son, Vampire hunting duo, who get caught in the city’s power struggles, conspiracies, and slowly uncover the truth behind the Vampire outbreak itself!


Note: These are long-term roles. We're looking for voice actors who are excited to become part of the project for the long haul.

    HEY EVERYONE!

    For those who have already auditioned, thank you so much for lending your talents and your time with HELLHOUNDS. There have been some fantastic submissions, the team and I really appreciate all your efforts!

    We are happy to provide an update regarding payments! For Eddy and Junior's roles, we will be offering $300 AUD, and with Suzie having less lines, we'll be offering $100 AUD.

Junior is an intelligent, strategic, but easily irritated 16 year old Vampire Hunter. He is a disciplined swordsman, valuing his own solitude and presenting himself as a ‘lone-wolf’ type to appear cool in front of others.


He enjoys the intellectual challenge of solving cases, meticulously planning situations carefully before acting. He craves stability and structure and when plans fall apart, so does his temper. 


Junior often shoulders the responsibilities his father lacks the competence to carry, resulting in an unconventional dynamic between the two. Underneath it all, Junior’s just an awkward, easily embarrassed kid who’s still trying to find himself.


Looking for a black voice actor that is youthful sounding, but with a bit of a cold, dejected tone.

Eddy is a forty-something year old ex-con and father of Junior. He is a stark contrast to his son, boasting a flamboyant, expressive, and extravagant persona. Boredom is death for Eddy, and so he seeks chaos and excitement in every single moment to stay alive, often to the detriment of those around him!


Eddy’s been in the game for a while, and is able to rely on his experience, sharp combat skills, and unyielding optimism to get him through any challenge.


Looking for a black voice actor. Voice must sound older and mature to reflect Eddy's age. For reference, I imagine Eddy sounding like a mix of Dr Sweet from Atlantis, and Grandad from Boondocks, but open to all interpretations!

Suzie is the owner of The Broken Fang, a bar for Vampire Hunters and the closest family friend of Eddy and Junior. She is of Polynesian heritage and carries a strong sense of pride in family-like connection, which she has fostered through her ownership of the bar. 


Both powerfully independent and self reliant, able hold her own against and maintain respect from the criminals who frequent the bar and maintain it as a well defended stronghold from the vampires and a well established neutral zone that is free from police presence.

Suzie has a soft side, with her strong maternal instincts compelling her to look after Junior, often treating him as her own son.

Looking for a Māori voice actor, with an Aotearoa accent. You must be able to capture Suzie's duality of motherly compassion, and intimidating power.
