Project Overview
This is an official casting call for a Minecraft Roleplay series called "Heart-Strings". An upcoming series produced by SunflowerStudios!
"Set in the early 2000s, the story follows Reggie and Theodore, two childhood best friends who once shared an unbreakable bond that was shattered by an unresolved event from their past. Reggie has spent years touring the world with his famous pop-rock band called "Pop-Rocks," while Theodore has remained in their hometown, working as a bookkeeper within his own library. Once united by the same dreams, their lives have taken drastically different paths. Ultimately, Reggie has to make a reluctant choice to return home for his sister's wedding, a place he once swore he'd never revisit. Hoping to reconnect with his family, he soon finds himself surrounded by forgotten promises and memories that refuse to stay buried forcing him to confront the past he thought he had left behind."

This series will contain scenes that display heavy emotion, so if you're not okay with that, please refrain from auditioning. We completely understand if these topics make you feel uninterested and we respect your boundaries.

Theodore is a guarded, sarcastic young man who keeps emotional distance from people. Beneath his blunt exterior, he carries nostalgia and unresolved feelings about a troubled past. This role demands someone who is blunt, bratty and sarcastic, but also soft and kind.

Quitterie is a sharp tongued, sarcastic member of the band. She loves to tease the others but is deeply loyal. She hides concern behind jokes and insults. This role demands someone who is both fierce and comedic.

Joey is an upbeat member of the band. He is a humorous guy who constantly jokes and teases, in a sort of affectionate way. He uses humor to lighten up tense moments, even when's he's unsure of what to say. This role demands someone who is expressive and bold.

Hannah is the fierce independent older sister of Reggie. She never hesitates to speak her mind. She's built walls of sarcasm and tough love to protect herself from the hurt casted upon her. She is stubborn and quick tempered. Her devotion towards her family also runs deep. Beneath her sharp wit is someone who simply wants the people she loves to stop hurting. This role demands someone bold, yet also sensitive and soft.

Laura is Reggie's emotional, loving mother who has struggled with his long absence. She's willing to express her feelings openly, often through tears or "motherly" affection. She is warm, protective, and deeply attached to her family. Although, her emotions can overwhelm tense situations. This role demands someone who is strong with their emotions and portray maternal warmth.
