Project Overview

This is a trailer project for a movie that I'm trying to create as a Social Change project. The theme is: LGBTQ+ inequalities. 

The story revolves around two men, in a fantasy world, who deal with their self-conflicts, past life, and also fight the Devil to return to the real world. The reason why it's fantasy themed, is because we wanted to approach the problem in a different manner. As much as we show self conflict in humans, in this film, we also show the Devil, who represents the external problems that a person has to deal with, as a part of the LGBTQ+ community. 

The movie is supposed to be (mostly) an animated movie. However, the trailer, for the most part is going to be a live-action. Which is why, we're trying to get an actor for the role of the main character, and fill up some other roles as well. Here, I would like to clarify a few things. I'm a teen Entrepreneur and I'm doing this project as a student of Imagination{UNIVERSITY}. So I won't be able to pay a lot, and I won't be able to pay for all the roles that I'm looking for. So yes, pls don't kill me I'm broke ☠️ but I'm trying, so that your efforts aren't wasted. All of you who are taken in for this project, would of course be credited in the trailer and also in the ending credits of the main short film.  And the time limit is kind of very less, because I have to finish making the film within mid-october, 2021. But if you do believe in the vision, and you feel interested, definitely join in!

    I have been on CCC for a while now and I've come up with a few fun projects as well. But this project, Intrepid, is one of my dream projects. And I'm really glad to see the auditions. Now we are only left to get an animator, and an audio engineer for the project. However, I was only supposed to make the trailer for the project as of now, and for that, I had cast Dillon (ManiacalZ): [https://www.castingcall.club?ref=D0CCBA9], as the narrator, and Andromeda Arts: [https://www.castingcall.club?ref=6FF3BCE8F45] as the editor. But I'm pleased to announce, that we are moving forward with the voice acting part of this project (the main short film) as well. Slow and subtle, with a gentle voice. Almost as if is the best friend of the main character, describing about the life of the main character. 

  • Aaand life keeps moving. Things keep happening and Morbis, keeps holding on to life. Feeling more hopeful day by day. He knows he has a purpose in his life now. He knows his life is not a life to be wasted. And he knows he has to find out the truth about his past, and about the picture. But overcoming all the obstacles, would he really be able to do that? Join the journey and witness friendship, darkness, light, love, conflicts and victories. "Intrepid"

Would need to animate 5 individual scenes for 10 seconds each. 

Exposition: As Morbis stares at the picture, a hand pulls stretches out of the picture and pulls him in. 

Rising action: Orion and Morbis meeting the devil/Rise of the Devil

Climax: Orion and Morbis preparing for the devil (maybe gaining a sword)

Falling action: Killing the devil.

Resolution: the screen goes dark again, and good words are heard and seen. 

P.S.: The animation can be black and white, more or less like concept arts. There won't be any dialogues for the animation.
