Hawkins V1.1 Update - A Fallout: New Vegas Mod
Project Overview
Hey all, it's Cu na Saoirse! Back at it again with another fun project! Please make sure to read THIS ENTIRE description before auditioning please. That includes Audition Requirements and Voice Requirements!
The project this time is for a fun little project I started a while back and finally got around to updating. The project name is Hawkins, and it's been released for some time now on Nexus Mods (linked below). The idea of the mod is to bring a chaotic-neutral companion into the mix named Hawkins. The Player can rescue Hawkins from Deathclaws near Sloan, and from there he can join the Player on their travels.
This update seeks to bring in the first Hawkins quest (First of a few planned). This quest, titled One More Cup of Coffee, involves the Player and Hawkins tracking a criminal across the Wasteland in order to enact justice on him for harming some of Hawkins friends way back when.

VOICE REQUIREMENTS
- Multiple takes are encouraged (2-3) for each audition line but NOT required!
- You must follow the voicing instructions crystal clearly. Any audition with discrepancies on specific instructions w/o any attempts to fix WILL BE disqualified.
- Must not be afraid to get vulgar or loud!
- Sometimes you will be cussing too. If you are uncomfortable with that, then I can say that, unfortunately, this project is not for you. :(
Audition Requirements:
-Crisp, clean audio. No hums*, pops, hisses, or background noise. Any audition with these found inside WILL BE disqualified!
*Hums, if distant enough to be hardly noticeable, can pass auditioning ONLY if the voice actor can remove them when asked.
-Show emotion! Any audition without emotion or effort WILL BE disqualified!
- Communication can be conducted through Discord or CCC.
-Have fun!

I'm an NCR Trooper. This is a small role and I just say a few things. Woot woot!
This NCR Trooper is a reference to a longtime fan of my mods. He confronts the Player in Primm if Hawkins is traveling with the Player. Recognizing Hawkins as an escaped Convict, he attempts, in an a-la Skyrim guard way, to arrest the two of them. With a little dialogue, you can avoid combat. Or just dive into it. It's up to the Player.

The Caravaneer is a Caravan Master on his way to New Reno. On the way, he stops at the 188 Trading Post and picks up Old Lady McKenzie and Savannah so they can travel safely back to California. He has two lines of dialogue, so it isn't a big role.

Old Lady McKenzie is an old friend of a younger Hawkins. The co-owner of a family run cafe from his hometown in California, her husband was murdered by Montenegro in a seemingly random attack. Hawkins never forgot the incident, and when he meets McKenzie again the Mojave years later, he devotes some time to hunt down Montenegro and enact justice upon him for ruining what little happiness he had in his younger days.

Savannah is the loud-mouthed daughter of Old Lady McKenzie and her late husband. In her early adult life, she came with her mother to New Vegas to make their fortune and lost everything. Now, waiting at the 188 Trading Post for a caravan heading to New Reno, she encounters Hawkins, whom she hasn't seen since her childhood years.

So what brings you out to this neck of the woods, Hawkins? Certainly isn't the booze....
Montenegro is a gun for hire that is operating in the Mojave. Having a taste for blood, and a quick trigger finger, he works as a hitman for various people that can afford him. In his early years, he murdered a man that owned a cafe by busting in in the middle of business hours and shot him dead before disappearing as quickly as he came. Hawkins never forgot, as that cafe brought him joy in a miserable time.
After meeting Old Lady McKenzie and Savannah again after years of not being home, Hawkins devotes some time to hunt down Montenegro and exact justice for what he had done so many years ago.
