Harmony & Chaos Productions First Project - Sonic's Unfortunate Accident

Project Overview

This is my first project for my new YouTube channel Harmony & Chaos Productions. My first (not really first) fanfiction is Sonic's Unfortunate Accident. I've actually been writing fanfiction for a couple years now. This only took me one night to write. I'm really excited about this project. It's going to be an animatic. The short story is about Sonic who sprains his ankle while fighting Eggman and learns certain things need time and patience.

I'm going to hire somebody to animate the project after the voices have been put together and such. I already have an idea who could animate. 

EDIT: Unfortunately, I couldn't hire anybody to create an animatic. I could try learning how to animate myself, but nobody really likes to animate for free.

RULES: You must know the character or characters you are going to voice. At least about their personality. You can voice more than one person if you think you can do it. You must have a fairly good mic. It doesn't need to be the best, but at least a mic that can cut out most of the background noises. 

Once you get the role, I will e-mail you the script. If I haven't e-mailed you the script within a couple days after you're voted, don't get mad. It'll probably mean that I'm changing to a better script format that I'm currently trying to learn. If you know the characters pretty well, you may change your lines a little to match the character's personality. Over time, I will learn more about writing stories. This isn't my first one.

  • Whoa! So sorry!

    Whoa! I'm so sorry, guys! I didn't get to cast the cast yet. I completely sorry.

  • Deadline will be October 19

    The deadline on the thing is stuck on October 20. I will be picking the cast the day before because I will be gone all day on the 20th. Thank you for understanding. I can't wait to cast the members. I kind of have a good of who I want the cast to be, but things could if more decide they want to audition.

  • Knuckles ~ Male Voice Actor

    I kept changing the role for Knuckles to be male, but it wouldn't stay that way. Anyways, I meant to make it for a male role. Not female. Sorry. I can't seem to make it stay the way that I want it to.

As for Sonic's voice sound, I would like to have a voice that sounds like Ben Schwartz, Sonic's voice actor who's voicing him in the upcoming movie in 2019. If not, then somewhat close to Jason Griffith, the voice actor of Sonic in Sonic X. If not any of those, go ahead and do your best! I'm excited to hear what you guys can do!

I even tried playing that clip and putting a picture of Sonic to get a good idea of it, and I think it sounds amazing. There's no real clip of what Sonic would sound like in the movie, but I imagine this would be the closest.)

  • (Sonic and Knuckles are argueing over which is better: speed or strength) (Use a somewhat confident tone.) "You've seen me fight Eggman's robots before. A million times. And I can fight off more robots than you can in any time limit."

  • (Sonic told Knuckles that he twisted his ankle while fighting Eggman's robots. Knuckles starts laughing his head off.) (Use a little bit of a angry and annoyed tone.) "Of course not. I can get around just fine on my own. *stands up* Ouch!

  • (Sonic was thanking Tails for his advice on how to take care of his twisted ankle.) (Use a somewhat happy and relieved tone.) "And it was the best advice I could ask for, pal."

As for the voice of Knuckles, I would like a voice similar to Dan Green, Knuckles voice actor in Sonic X. If anything, please--I beg you--please, don't sound like Travis Willingham. I'm sorry. His voice is just really annoying for Knuckles. But you can try whatever you want. I'd be happy with any result. Try your best and give it a shot! :D

  • (Knuckles and Sonic are argueing over what is more important: strength or speed. Sonic said that, with speed, you can evade more easily.) (Use a somewhat smart tone.) "Yeah. Well, that means you're just chicken."

  • (Knuckles sees Sonic lying on the couch with left foot propped up on 3 pillows and an ice pack on the same foot. Sonic already knows what he's expecting from Knuckles.) "*laughing really hard* This is it? This is your best plan to get your ankle better more quickly?"

  • (Amy just left after asking Sonic if she could him get around to places, and Sonic told her that he didn't need her help. Knuckles watched the whole thing.) (Use a somewhat curious and serious tone.) Why are you so scared of Amy anyway?

As for the voice for Eggman, I would like him to sound like Mike Pollock, Dr. Eggman's current voice actor. That would be so amazing! But anything works. Go ahead and give it a try!

  • (Dr. Eggman and his robots walk up to Sonic while he's relaxing with his eyes closed. Sonic says his name without opening his eyes.) (Use a confused tone.) "How did you know it was me?"

  • (Dr. Eggman sees Sonic is not acting like his usual self.) (Use a confuse tone) What happened? Why aren't you fighting?

  • (Sonic tells him Dr. Eggman that he doesn't feeling like fighting.) (Use a confused and curious tone.) That's unusual. You usually always want to fight."

As for the voice of Tails, I actually recommend a girl voicing him because it just sounds, and Tails seems to be voiced more by girls than male. I would like Tails to try to sound like somewhat close to Amy Palant or Colleen O'Shaughnessey. If not, you can still give it a shot!

It's so hard to find videos of the original voice actors and not Tails impressions. XD Have fun!

  • (Sonic keeps bugging Tails about his twisted ankle and asking if he could fix it.) (Use a little bit of an annoyed tone.) "You can't fix a sprained ankle. It just takes time. Just relax for a while."

  • (Sonic thanks Tails for his advice on how to treat his sprained ankle.) (Use a somewhat thankful and focused tone.) "No problem. I knew you'd probably thank me for it someday."

  • (Sonic compliments on Tails's ability to fix and build a lot of things. He apologizes for not taking Tails's advice better.) (Use a clever and reasonable tone.) "Well, you know I have sprained my ankle many times before. That was the best rememdy I could think of."

As for the voice of Silver, try to sound close to Pete Capella or Quinton Flynn, but I would suggest more Quinton Flynn. If you don't, you can still try. You'll have a chance of being picked if you do the audition. Silver's role in this story is very small even though he's my favorite character in the franchise. This is probably only half of his lines, but the story is more aimed at Sonic. I will write other stories where it's based on one or two characters. Have fun with this!

This was the best I could find for Quinton Flynn because this was like his first time where he's not saying one word like the in gameplay of games.)

  • (Silver just opens the door to find Sonic have his food elevated on pillows and an ice pack on his ankle) (Use a somewhat confused tone.) "Umm...what's going on?

  • (Knuckles had told Silver that Sonic twisted his ankle.) (Use a little bit of a surprised tone.) Really? *looks at Sonic* (Use a curious tone.) I didn't know that you could twist your ankle, Sonic. I never heard that you have."

  • (Sonic was telling Silver that Tails told Sonic to use the R.I.C.E. method.) (Use a confused tone.) "R.I.C.E.?"

OPTIONAL: As for the voice of Amy, try to sound like Lisa Ortiz or Cindy Robinson or somewhat close to them. If you want to sound like either one, I would like her to sound more like Lisa Ortiz. If not, try your best. Anyone is capable.

  • (Sonic is in his house with his sprained ankle propped up on some pillows with a ice pack on it. He was talking to Knuckles and Silver when Amy ran in.) (Use a worried tone.) "Sonic, are you all right? I went to go see Tails. He told me you had sprained your ankle."

  • (Sonic told her that he'll be fine.) (Use a hopeful, somewhat excited tone.) "Because I'll help you get around to places if you need to. I'd love to help you."

  • (Sonic tells Amy that he just wants to be alone.) " *looks at Knuckles and Silver* With them?"
