Project Overview

This is an AU of Hamilton that I created where all the characters are swapped with their spouses!  I want to create animatics for this AU, but due to the different personalities of some of the characters, some of the lyrics don't exactly make sense.  Because of this, I've decided to ask my fellow fans of Hamilton to offer their talent for this AU!  



Will all songs be incorporated?

Yes. Some will be the workshop version and some won't.  There's even an original song in the works, which is a big reason why I opened this!


Will there be lyrical changes?
Yes there will be to fit the characters more.  I will discuss that with the actors.


Can we audition for multiple roles?
Of course!

Will there be double casting? 
Possibly, which is why you are open to audition for multiple roles!  I will most likely double cast for Stephen van Renssealer and James Lewis.  However, there might be different voice actors for characters who are usually played by one person (Elizabeth Sanders and Dolley, etc.) This is because I want to give as many people an opportunity to use their talents!

I can't sing as low as the characters!
That's alright!  When I cast the roles, I'm going to create a discord where we can discuss changing keys as well as other things!
 
Why aren't there auditions for ensemble?
Because it's unnecessary.  The ensemble will be comprised of people who weren't assigned a main role.  So don't be discouraged if you don't get a large part!  Ensemble is open to everyone!

Requirements:

  • -A good microphone.  It doesn't have to be amazing, but the audio quality has to be clean enough.  Using your phone to record yourself is allowed and passable.

  • -Have a Discord, and you must be on frequently because there are things that I would like to rehearse with the voice actors

  • -Do not be afraid to sing while others listen.  I will do my best to make sure that all actors are respectful and easy to work with.

  • My inconsistent art style and first wave

    Tonight's the night! I'm going to cast a few roles. Not all roles will be casted, but I am trying to narrow someone's choices a bit because I've already found a few people who are good for a role. I don't want that role to get too clogged up or anything. I would also like to point out that my art style changed a bit, so if anyone's new here's my most current art piece.     Wow, I can't believe this many people auditioned for this! I'm honestly shocked that this many people are interested. However, I am in dire need of male voice actors. Without them, there's very little chance that this will work out. So, if you know any male singers who'd be interested, please suggest this to them!

Elizabeth was the daughter of a male prostitute in the Caribbean, and even though she was poor she tried her best to stay positive.  However, her life hit an all time low after her father succumbed to illness.  It wasn't until lighting struck her hometown, setting it on fire, did she realize she had very little time on the Earth to establish herself as someone to be remembered.  Now, in New York as a woman straight off the boat, she is ready to face any challenge that comes her way.  Whatever trial or tribulation, Elizabeth WILL find a way to seal her legacy.

Alexander Hamilton Schuyler

Alexander was the second oldest of the Manhattan Brothers (who weren't actually brothers) who fell helplessly in love with Elizabeth Schuyler.  After finding out about the affair from the Lewis Pamphlet, Alexander threw every letter between him and his wife into a river, drowning all the memories they had together.  He is mostly soft-spoken, but unafraid to express his opinion.

Theodosia Bartow

Theodosia Bartow's life took a strange turn when she met Elizabeth Schuyler.  At first, they were no more than acquaintances, but after the way and finishing law school together, Theo and Eliza were inseparable friends.  Always taking court cases together, the two of them where a non-stop force in the world of lawyers.  However, after an argument about the Constitution, Theo's and Eliza's friendship seemed to end.  However, Theodosia still remained hopeful that Eliza still considered her as a friend as she did, even after many times where she felt betrayed.  Unfortunately, Theo broke when Elizabeth endorsed Martha Wayles instead of her.  Finally certain that she meant nothing to Eliza, she challenged her friend-turned-enemy to a duel, ultimately resulting in Elizabeth's death.

Martha Manning

Though completely loyal to the Revolution, Martha is a more quiet supporter of the cause.  She's not entirely okay with violence and death, but she tries to go by.  During the Revolutionary War, Martha becomes haunted with her duel and the fact that she nearly killed someone.  Even with her dreams of leading a fully-black battalion coming true, she never supported the war entirely, even in death.  She's a great friend of the two Elizabeths, but she seemed to have a closer relationship with Adrienne (in a Laurens/Hamilton kinda of way).

Adrienne was probably the most passionate supporter of the American Revolution, despite the fact that she was not born in the country.  She would do anything to make sure that America got the independence it deserved, even if it meant killing numerous soldiers.  Adrienne was suave and calm in the city, but powerful and merciless the second she stepped on the field.  Her overall demeanor caught the attention of many suitors (and possibly Martha Manning).  Out of everyone, Adrienne was the most devastated by the untimely death of Manning.

Elizabeth Sanders is a large woman with a large heart.  Despite always being open to slamming loyalists and redcoats into the nearest table, Sanders is a warmhearted welcoming woman to anyone who givers her a chance.  Still, she can switch between being kind to being intimidating and vicious in a snap of her fingers.  Don't mess with her.

When one imagines the model of a modern major general, the first Founding Mother, and the very first president, a 5'0 tall Japanese woman is not the first image that comes to mind.  However, that's exactly what Martha Dandridge looked like.  Don't let her small stature fool you, though.  This woman is always the most capable one in the room and isn't afraid to be strict when she needs to.

As the oldest of the Manhattan brothers, Jonathan was the unofficial leader of the friend group.  Even so, he was willing to sacrifice his own happiness for his non-biological brothers.  He even gave up with marrying the woman he was infatuated with just so his friend Alexander could be happy. Still, no one will ever be able to get between him and his brothers (from other mothers)
