Hamilton Non Stop Cover
Project Overview
Okay, so as some of you may know, "Ladies of Hamilton" has been cast, and I'm sure there are some of you, myself included, that auditioned and did not get cast in a role. There's probably just as many of you who simply love Hamilton and are interested in being involved in a fan project.
I am the sound editor for the project and waiting for the recordings to come in has been a little slow, so in the meantime, I really wanted an excuse to practice my editing ^^ so I thought that a small, low commitment project would be perfect for everyone.
So here it goes. Feel free to audition for any role you would like, regardless of your gender, but keep in mind that this is NOT a genderbent project. No names, pronouns or other words will be changed, so keep that in mind and make sure that you are comfortable playing a character of the opposite gender of you if you choose to audition.
I know many of you guys will be working around midterms to get auditions in, so the deadline may change if it appears to be an issue for most. If you can not get your audition in by the twentieth, leave me a comment or a message as soon as you can and I will extend the time until I cast that role for up to a week.
This should go without saying, but yes, you can audition regardless of your race or ethnicity.
OKAY SO SOME RULES:
(Note that if you meet all of these requirements you WILL be cast at least as an ensemble member)
-Have a decent Microphone
-Be able to meet deadlines
-HAVE A SKYPE! I can not stress that enough
-Have a good familiarity with the song and the musical
-Have an email to send me your files with as a wav, mp3, or mp4 format
