Hair Bows and Bow Ties
Project Overview
[This project deals with LGBT+ characters and themes and stars a mlm (men loving men) relationship.]
Hair Bows and Bow Ties (HBBT) is a comic I'm writing and hoping to enter in the Lezhin Comic Contest, but I need an artist to help me. This project requires me to have the first two chapters (already written) ready to be submitted by the submission date, 8/31/20.
If we win, my plan is to split the winnings (% is negotiable) and then for the next 28+ chapters (winners have to post at least 30 chapters total with a weekly upload schedule) we split those earnings as well. If we don't win, I plan to still work with you if you're willing and I will pay you per page (negotiable as well) and instead upload the comic on Webtoons. Reguardless, you will be paid for the first two chapters.
Below is a basic summary as well as some simple descriptions of the main characters. Feel free to ask me any questions you have, though more info for the contest itself can be found here.
The Plot:
Jo is a closeted trans male attending an affluent private high school. Patric is a cismale attending the same school and has a secret hobby of crossdressing. The two end up accidentally discovering each others secrets, become friends, and eventually more.

Basic Info: Quiet and reserved at school, a bit more weird and wacky with friends. When not in his school uniform, usually just wears a baggy hoodie and jeans.

Height: 6’3
Basic Info: Rarely approaches people he doesn't know and doesn't trust easily. Sunshine and rainbows once he considers you a friend. When not in his school uniform, he's usually either just wearing a plain shirt and jeans or crossdressing. When crossdressing, he wears a long blonde wig and usually prefers to wear sweet lolita dresses.

Basic Info: Patric's best friend who loves to joke around and procrastinate everything. Outside of the school uniform, you can rarely catch him not wearing a tacky shirt with cargo shorts.

Shockingly, this role is for being the artist in charge of drawing the comic. If you are unable to draw backgrounds and/or aren't comfortable with more complex backgrounds, then I can hire a background artist as well.
For your application, please draw at least a rough sketch of how you see the three characters described above, as well as one or more examples of your previous work.
Say something you think would fit
This role will only be officially filled if the main artist needs help with background art and/or I love your background art so much I just want it reguardless. You will be paid per background drawn, which you can name your price.
For your submission, please just submit examples of your background art. Keep in mind that for the most part, this comic will take place in a high school with visits to other places like book stores, malls, and parks.
