Haikyu! Abridged Episode 1
Project Overview
Hello! Thank you for considering and auditioning for HAIKYU ABRIDGED this series will be a passion project where me and other passionate fans of haikyu will work together to create this series. It will be very personal and those who land a role's input on the future of the series will be listened too. If you are still reading and would like to audition please read the listed format for auditions below.
For each role read the description of their character. some parody depictions are unwritten currently but almost every character will closely resemble their anime counterpart.
For each role read out each line in these 3 styles: everyday conversation, serious, and an everyday shout. This should be submitted in AAA BBB CCC format

Hinata is a very energetic yet immature volleyball player. He brings a fire to the game that burns brighter than almost any other player yet despite his loud/obnoxious behavior he takes the sport extremely serious.
Hinata is the main character of the anime and this abridge aswell and will appear in every episode

Kageyama is a cocky and straightforward volleyball player. he believes and is better than almost anyone in his field. he has a passion for the sport that is on par with hinatas yet instead of being loud and energetic about it he is much more calculated and much more casual when he succeeds.
kageyama will be a main character in every episode of the abridge

Tanaka is a loud and obnoxious boy, he is quite the punk but has a heart of gold. he is in love with a girl who doesn't love him back but always has a good attitude and spirit. He is the backbone of karasunos moral.

Daichi is the team captain for karasuno. He runs the show on the court and keeps the team together and is giving his all to bring karasuno back to its previous heights

I just really love volleyball
Sugawara is the voice of reason on the team he is calm and collected and while he loves the sport he understands if the best team does not include him on it.
I am quite fond of his dub voice so id like to see something similar to that

Tsukishima is the cold and stubborn middle blocker of Karasuno. He loves nothing more than getting into peoples heads in a sadistic manner. He will say anything if it means you're off your game.

Coach Ukai is the stern coach for the karasuno volleyball team. He is tough yet fair to his players and will do everything he can for the growth of his team
Coach ukai is a minor role in episode one but will become a main character for every subsequent episode

Izumi is one of Hinata's middle school friends. He is a much more study focused person yet he enjoys sports and is supportive of Hinata
Izumi is a main character for the first episode but will not appear in any subsequent episodes besides for an appearance or two

Yamaguchi is the timid best friend of Tsukushima. He only started playing volleyball for his friend but is slowly finding out what he loves about the sport.
Yamaguchi will be a main character in every episode

Tsukishima is six foot four
Volleyball is more of a hobby to me
Takeda is the counselor for the volleyball club and pseudo coach until he is replaced later on. He does his job well in managing the clubs tournaments and practice games.
Takeda is a minor role in many episodes

Kiyoko is the female manager of the mens volleyball team. Being surrounded by boys did not get to her and she is able to stand her ground with them, She is more of the silent type and can be cruel when she speaks

Oikawa is a ladies man and an amazing volleyball player. his charisma in the way he speaks is matched with his charisma in the sport. he is a team player and able to utilize his team well.
Oikawa is a main character in the first episode and a few other episodes. he also makes small appearances here and there

Who's the shorty
Kunimi is a lazy volleyball player who usually just does enough so that he doesn't fail. This character would be a main character for episode one but wont appear as much in later episodes
Sorry kageyama
The other team seems pretty scrawny
Its just one point man
Kindaichi is one of kageyamas old teammates. He is stubborn and holds a grudge well. He enjoys playing the game but doesn't do to well when he isn't succeeding and isn't afraid to leave if he isn't being respected.
Kindaichi is a main character for the first episode and will be a main character in a few more.

Iwaizumi is the team captain for AOBA josai and has to keep his rowdy teammates in line. He is stubborn and capable. He is not one for trash talking of other teams but his own team is completely at his mercy as he knows how all of them work by heart
