Guardians of the Seeds: The Series
Project Overview
After visiting the botanical garden in coastal Maine, I saw the Guardians of the Seeds statues made by Thomas Dambo, and was inspired to make a series inspired by them. This will be most likely a one-off series, but I may decide to make future seasons. Good luck to everyone!
SUMMARY:
While people live their lives, unbeknownst to them, they are destroying the very world they call home. Thankfully, when no human can change the course of the world and give it hope, there are five gods, known by some as the five gods of the seeds: Roskva, Birk, Gro, Soren, and Lilja. When the world has lost all hope and nature is being destroyed at an alarming rate, these five gather for the first time in 150 years. Can they find a way to save the world they call "home", or is it too late?

"ROSKVA stands for the trunks. She is the heaviest, hardest, and strongest of the [gods]. Each day, Roskva climbs toward the sky, and every year she grows taller and wider. If [one of the gods] forgets something, they can always ask Roskva—she counts the seasons and remembers everything that happens around her. "-Thomas Dambo
Roskva in this series will still be the oldest. She will be the eldest and goddess of climate and weather. She is the strongest and as the greatest sense of camraderie. Despite this, she is neither the smartest nor the most dependable, yet somehow has an incredible memory and observational skill. Thus, she is relentlessly teased by the others for it. but when push comes to shove, she will do anything to help out the others. She should sound like and athlete, through energy and language. She lives in the Wilderness, watching over nature.

"Stupid or not, I could still whup your ass in a fight, so I'd be careful about pissing me off."
"We're the only ones who understand what we do. We're all we've got"
"BIRK holds the roots. He is the wisest and most mysterious of the [gods]. You will find him hiding in the shadows and listening to the whispers of the soil. Birk knows everything that happens in the wild, and every day he tells tales to all the other creatures of the forest. "-Thomas Dambo
Birk is the second oldest and god of the ecosystem. He is the wisest of the five, and he communes with the plants and wildlife in order to make the best decision for the world. He should sound monk-like, as I believe it would fit his wise characterization the best. Like Roskva, he lives in the Wilderness, watching over nature.

"With everyday, this world grows more and more complacent. They stopped caring about us..this world along time ago"
"I spent every second of everyday in the forest, asking nature itself what the best decision is. This is the first time I asked...and didn't get an answer back."
"If the people no longer care about this world, then it falls to us to. They're right, we made an oath."
"GRO smiles with the leaves and is a great wanderer. Every fall she disappears, but the other [gods] do not worry because every spring she returns to the forest. On her return, Gro walks around to make sure every friend is fed. After hurrying to catch a few sunbeams and a handful of raindrops, she creates a feast for the forest."-Thomas Dambo
Gro is without a doubt the most peaceful of the five, not wanting to hurt a single thing, and will always look for the most pacifistic way to do things, and is the most introverted of the five. She should have a soft voice. She splits her time in between living in the wilderness in the fall/winter and working as a florist for countless different floral shops in the spring/summer.

"I understand we're all high-strung and stressed, but yelling will not solve the problem. We have to work together."

"SØREN sticks up for the branches. He is [the most curious]; his head is always turning and twisting, searching for places ever higher. He dreams about drifting around on a cloud in the sky, and when the wind is blowing, he loves to celebrate with a dance."-Thomas Dambo
Soren is the god of human impact. At the beginning of the series, he has not seen the others for an extended amount of years, choosing to live amongst the human population as a rock musician instead.

"Living amongst humans, you come to realize how little they care. And if they truly care so little…why should we?"
"I haven't seen you guys in...how long? You can't just drag me into your mess. Whatever you're doing, I'm not involved."
"We lost. There's no hope, no trust here. We can't expect to save this world if we can't even figure our own shit out. I'm done here. Come find me if you wanna talk about something worth my time."
"LILJA holds the scent of the flowers and came out from her hiding place for the first time last summer. She is the youngest of the [gods] and still very much a child. Lila is happiest watching the bees and butterflies fly among branches and embracing the flowers’ smells and colors. "-Thomas Dambo
Lilja is the youngest and therefore most naive and childlike of the five. Because of this, she is extremely expressive, and is the most likely to cry, whether it's in pure joy or pure sadness. Her voice should be high pitched and expressive. Like Roskva and Birk, she lives in the Wilderness, watching over nature, only coming out to help lost children and baby animals find their way back their parents.

"It's so nice to have all five of us together again. I missed spending time with all of you."
"I...I'm so....scared. If we can't even believe in each other....than what can we believe in?"
