Project Overview
Hello! Welcome to the Collective.
At the moment we are a group of two authors looking for more talented individuals to add to the team. The goal of this project is to build a team and workflow to get us ready for our larger future projects. Currently, we are in need of three digital artists, at least one who is good at backgrounds, and one storyboarder who is willing to work on a schedule and help produce a webcomic we are currently calling “Demon Feels” a romantic drama set in an alternate reality where clans of angels and demons operate like gangs, constantly fighting for power in the background of daily life. Juicier details will be provided in the interview phase.
What's important to us more than anything is team chemistry and perseverance. Because if we're being honest we are brand new to this. We're both nineteen and are just trying to get our stories out there. We are storytellers and artists, not businessmen. Our stories are flexible and in reality, every single one of you who join us will probably have major parts in developing as well.
For our artists, we are requiring a portfolio to be submitted, but keep in mind we are more concerned about the completeness of the work presented than how “good” it is. For our General artists all we are looking for is a good understanding of linework and character art. Our background artist must have a good understanding of background art and a decent understanding of character art. If need be, each should be able to swap around to help each other.
For our singular storyboarder, the process of choosing who will get the interviews will be a tad more strict due to the importance of the position. A short story will be required to be submitted with the minimum word count being 1000 words and the maximum being 2000. Any submissions over or below this threshold will be disregarded and you will not move to the interview phase. This short story must show writing comprehension and the ability to weave a story and comprehensive plot.
PS: we also play allot of videogames, so that's always something we look for in applicants ;)
