Project Overview

Hi everyone!


As the title suggests, I'm making an abridged series of Grimgar of Fantasy and Ash!

A quick synopsis of the show if you haven't seen it:

 The story follows a group of people suddenly transported to a fantasy world with no memory of their old one. They must fight to survive their new environment. Enduring monsters, poor living conditions, and the loss of close friends.

I would like to abridge all 12 episodes of the season but we'll see how the first episode goes.

RIght now I need actors and writers. PM me if you're interested in helping out with writing but know that I'd like to keep the writing team to a very small group.

A fairly high-end USB mic is alright but an XLR is preferred.(Quick tip: The program Voicemeter makes your USB mic sound a lot better while recording)

I'll most likely be using Discord for communication but if that's a problem don't be afraid to talk to me.

Also, don't be afraid to play around with the characters. If you have an idea for what they should sound like try it out! Even if it goes against what I'm looking for. I'm looking for this to be a collaborative effort and want to see what you think will make this show the best it can be!

I don't like that I'm asking for free work here so in exchange for those cast if you need help with a demo reel or need another voice for a project I'll make myself available!

Lastly, audition for as many characters as you'd like but know that you can only be cast as one character.

  • Deadline Being Pushed Back a Week.

    Hey guys! Thank you so much for the auditions so far. There's a lot of good talent here and I can't wait to get started on casting. Some people have told me IRL and in PM that they are interested in auditioning but won't be able to get to their equipment until next week. So I'm moving the deadline back a bit. I want to make sure everyone who's interested in the project gets an equal opportunity. Casting will take place next weekend. Can't wait to start!

Yume is the group's hunter, the problem is is that she is terrible with a bow. Yume is a little ditzy but kind enough compared to the rest of the people she's grouped up with.


I don't have an exact voice in mind for her so experiment!

Manato is the only guy out of the whole group that seems to know what he's doing. He is the group's Healer and unofficial leader. He is the only one of the Goblin Slayers that is not an asshole. Played as the straight man of the group usually.


Looking for a mid-toned range for him, He should sound the most normal/level headed of all of them.

  • Yume you can't shoot for shit use your knife.

  • Seriously guys it's one goblin are we this incompetent!

Moguzo is the gentle giant of the group, he's also an idiot. Looking for a kind of "simpleton" kind of sound


Looking for a fairly deep voice. The best example I can think of for what I'm looking for is the "yarp" guy from Hot Fuzz.

Ranta is a perverted hot-head. Since joining his guild he hasn't quite gotten used to the small side effect of him being open to demon possession.
