Cactus Gunman is a cactus in bandit clothes and sombrero who loves to challenge guests into fights. He was once a leader of revolutionaries and is known for being a coward and a terrible shot. Still, he plays up the act, acting like a tough guy until conflict makes him run away screaming. 

A 22-year-old Freeter(Japanese expression for people who lack full-time employment or are unemployed) who comes to the city to follow his dreams. Thanks to his status he is unable to find an apartment to live in until a seedy real estate agent introduces him to Gregory House. Tooru is your average young man trying to find his way through life while simultaneously trying comprend and survive the strange world that is Gregory House.

Judgement Boy is a set of anthropomorphic scales. He weighs the soul of whoever he encounters by presenting the person with a hypothetical situation where the person must choose between love and money (such as whether to sign a life-changing business contract or visit the person's boyfriend/girlfriend in the hospital who just got hit by a car). After hearing the person's answer he says they will consult the "Balance of Truth," spin around while shouting "Judgment!" and stops to say the word "Now!" as the bottom of one of his scales drops either the glass heart or the gold nugget he carries. After seeing what object drops, he completes the scenerio appropriately, finishing off with "It was your choice, you get to live with it."His skills at determining the truth are slightly questionable. When he's not judging others, he usually sings to himself about himself ("Do you know who I am? They call me Judgement Boy!").

She is a poor girl about six years old looking forever for her doll with a pink face and a blue face. At first, she looks harmless but when approached or picked up, she becomes violent with her face turns blue. She herself is in fact the doll she is looking for. Her name may have once been 'Katie'. Her only friend was a doll which was her constant companion, but one day, her parents decided to dispose of the doll. The girl searched endlessly for her lost doll, until she happened upon the place known as Gregory House, where she became a permanent resident.

He is the chef of Gregory Hotel that looks very much like a dark-faced candle with glowing red eyes and a giant knife that is said to cleave elephant bones like butter. He often butchers/poisons the guests that don't eat or refuse his meals (even if they are just not hungry), and then serves them to other guests. He is very particular and passionate about his food preparation, and refuses to eat anyone's cooking but his own. He hates smokers because smoking eventually numbs the taste buds). The candle on his head is almost always seen burning because it somewhat acts as his life spark - if it's blown out, he stops moving and his eyes stop glowing, and when it is re-lit, he continues as if nothing had happened.

Gregory is a slightly creepy old anthropomorphic mouse with an obsession for keeping guests at his hotel. He loves to mess with one's mind and has a habit of appearing out of nowhere.It is strongly implied that Gregory is in fact a manifestation of the hidden dreams and desires that people suppress. Gregory himself is more morally ambiguous, since he never overtly harms anyone, though he never makes any attempt to prevent harm coming to them.  however.While enigmatic he is, if nothing else, polite and sincere. One thing is clear though, Gregory is indestructible and inescapable. Even if the guest tries to flee the purgatory of his hotel, or attempt to destroy him, they'll still somehow return, and Gregory will stay be there, keeping their room ready for them

She is a pink lizard nurse with  an obsessive desire to steal blood from and mutilate guests, and searches for any excuse she can find to do so for no reason other than personal pleasure, suggesting that it may be fetishistic in nature.  Almost everything she says is full of lust and overly sexual

Neko Zombie is a zombie cat who once lived with a family that stayed in Gregory's Hotel. Once a glossy beautiful cat, it escaped from reality and ended up at the hotel where Gregory stitched up its eyes, mouth and ears as act of revenge, possibly against cats in general due to their inter-species conflict. His room is nothing more than a prison cell, revealing the true nature of this strange place. He is a manifestation of a broken heart, stitched together by anger and misery.

An undead skelton who spends his time lying in his bed to afraid to do anything but is also afraid of dying. He sees death as inveitable so why bother doing anything? no matter what happens the final outcome will remain: you will die and there is nothing that can stop it.

 I Imagine him either speaking in a cold raspy whisper or being the most depressing person ever. 

Gregory's grandson, a mischievous young mouse and typical bratty kid who has a penchant for pranks and frequently causes trouble for his own amusement.He  loves to drive Gregory to despair and distraction.
