Project Overview

*CASTING CALL NOTICE*

After spending his entire summer secluded in his house due to a break up from his long term girlfriend, Cameron enters his senior year of high school with no positive outlook on life. His life long friends Evelyn and Brandon as well as the new girl in school Tiffany take on the task of helping him move on and changing his mindset in order to make the most out of this last year they have together.

This is going to be a slice of life romantic drama, short animated series created in Unreal Engine 4. As of now, we are only focusing on creating one season of the show. However, we have plans to make another if it is narratively necessary. The video that you see with this casting call is a work in progress promotional video that will eventually be released once the cast is locked down.

We are currently only casting for one of our four leads named Evelyn Morales. Check out below to find out more details on her. She does have a singing element to her so if that piques your interest, please audition and show us what you got!

  • Deadline extended till Wednesday.

    We've received a lot of awesome auditions. It made us really happy to know that so many people are interested in joining us in this endeavor. To give a few more people the chance to submit their auditions we're pushing the deadline back to this Wednesday, October 21st. We will not push it back any further after that. To everyone who's auditioned so far, we are extremely impressed with your talent. When talking to the team about what the possible shortlist would be, it has been extremely difficult to narrow it down. It's a great problem for us to have and should echo just how talented this pool of voice actors are. We are still sticking to the cast announcement deadline stated in the previous update, which will be on November 1st. If you haven't already please submit your auditions and to those that have already done that, best of luck, and we will hopefully be reaching out to you soon.

  • New Character is Ready to be Auditions for!!!

    It was finally time to add our last character to our casting call. Sabrina may be listed as a supporting character, but she is as important if not more important to the story then our leads as she is the catalyst to the events of season 1. If you want to find out more about her check out her details in the casting call and if you think you’re a match for the role, please feel free to audition. Thank you to everyone who has auditioned so far. In terms of the announcement of who will be cast. That will not be done until the days following the closing of auditions which is Monday, October 19th, 2020. An extension could be possible, but we are hoping that it will not be needed. Official castings will be posted on Casting Call Club by no later than November 1st, 2020. The selected voice actors will be offered their roles sometime prior to that date and after the closing of auditions. Please follow the project to keep up to date on everything we announce. Evelyn is our protagonist’s life long best friend. They’ve known each other since before they could even walk. She moved to the other side of town when she was nine but, the two always attended the same school so their friendship stayed strong. She has always been by his side but the two have always been only friends. She has always had some romantic feelings for him but by the time she realized it he was with Sabrina. She kept her feelings hidden cause he was happy with Sabrina and his happiness is what is important to her. When they broke up her concern for him was sincere. She never once thought that this was her opportunity to be with him. She hated to see her lifelong best friend hurt. She decides to make it her mission to make this year the best one. In order to make him feel better but also because this could be some of the last opportunities to make memories with him as their lives after high school are leading down different paths. She has a passion for singing which she is going to explore during the series. After high school, she is planning on attending the Close to home University and get a bachelor's degree in childhood development as well as a teaching credential in hopes of becoming a teacher.

  • That right there, that is my problem with you. You just come in out of nowhere and start messing with me. You start messing with my best friend

    (Beat)

    Do you even know what he's going through? The last thing he needs is some girl toying with his emotions. I'll be damnned if I let you do that to him, so do us all a favor and back off.

  • I know! I've rehearsed over and over again, all my time not at gaming practice or in class was spent getting ready for this.

    (Beat)

    Yet, every time I think about actually getting on stage my body begins to feel weak, almost like its about to collapse.

  • For this please pick any song of your choice and sing it. Evelyn has a scene where she sings and we would like to find a voice that not only fits this character but one that can also sing.

Sabrina is the catalyst for the events in the show. She is the one dating Cameron (Protagonist) before the beginning of the show and ultimately breaks up with Cameron before leaving for college. Setting the stage for the events that take place throughout the 1st season of the show. Fear is what lead to her decision to break up with Cameron. It was something she felt like she must do but is not something she wanted to do. She is as important as a lead but is classified as a supporting character due to screen time, throughout the show she is seen in two variations. The first is shown as an emotionless evil person who breaks Cameron's heart. This is shown through Cameron's retelling flashbacks of that night. The second variation is her true self. Multiple times throughout the show we will get a quick glance at her in her college life, showing her regret of the breakup and trying to figure out what she can do to go back. In both these variations, her emotions will bleed through her words and body gestures (We're not showing her face until the end).  Her presence in the show is minimal until the final three-episode where she takes center stage with her attempt to regain what she gave up. Our hope for this character is to leave the audience confused at her decision. With the flashbacks and the way characters talk about her it would seem that she is an awful person, but when the audience sees the snippet of her actual self, they will begin to question everything. Leading to the grand conclusion of the first season!  

  • I'm not joking Cameron. I'm being completely serious right now. We need to break up.

    (Try your best to be blunt, no emotion almost like you don't care. The past two years have meant nothing. You want to be done with this as quickly as possible. Only cause you know the moment you walk away, you're going to want to curl in a ball and cry. This hurts you deeply but at this moment its what believe you have to do. There is no other option.)

  • Please pick an emotionally filled monologue and perform it for us to review. If it has something to do with confessing feelings or apologizing that would be a nice bonus but not necessary.
