Gotham High Episode 1
Project Overview
WHAT IS THIS?
This is an audio drama series I have had in production for some time now. It was originally up on my original CastingCall profile before I decided to be a bit more organized in where I have my projects. Now, we already have a good chunk of the roles cast, however, there are still quite a few that need to be cast before we can proceed.
The storyline of the series is that Bruce Wayne is the new student at Gotham High School, at Alfred's insistence. In his time here, he meets many of the students and teaches that will soon become the heroes and villains Gotham is familiar with, such as Barbara Gordon, Dick Grayson, Edward Nygma, Oswald Cobblepot, and Jack Napier. How will these characters become these famous crimefighters and troublemakers? Guess you'll have to watch, or rather listen, and find out.
REQUIREMENTS
Now, this is going to be an unpaid project, but I still would like there to be decent quality, technology-wise, and performance-wise. As such, please make sure that your microphone can capture your voice that is clear for me to hear and have any background noise or peaking/clipping be minimal. In terms of performance, I ask you to do some research on the character you would like to audition for, make sure you know how they sound or should sound so your audition sounds perfect!
I would also prefer it if you listed your Discord information in your audition description, as the project will be going into production over there. All voice files should be submitted in a .wav format. Most importantly, remember to have fun, as that is the whole purpose of this project, to have fun!

Ed Nygma is probably one of the smartest kids in the school, perhaps even in all of Gotham. He has an unhealthy habit of asking riddles and giving fun facts despite nobody asking him to. He also has a tendency to give away too much information when he gets frustrated. His best friend is Oswald Cobblepot, as he's one of the few who somewhat shares his intellect and will actually take the time to answer his riddles.
Voice: He should sound like a teenage version of Edward Nygma from the Television Series, Gotham.
Okay, Batman! Riddle me this.
[Telling a riddle] A diamond plate, a glowing grate, a place you never leave. Where am I?
You're not even going to try to answer me, are you? You don't think it'd help to know what I'm about to do to you? Well, you can't win if you don't play.
Waylon was born with a rare genetic condition that has given him a crocodile-like appearance. Now, he uses his terrifying looks to intimidate and scare kids at school into doing what he wants. For once in his life, he actually feels somewhat powerful. He's not the smartest though. His best friend in school is Eduardo Dorrance.
Voice: He should sound like a teenage version of the croc from Batman: The Animated Series, but with a southern drawl.
All my life people have been screamin'... ever since I was a kid -- just cuz I was born different... just cuz I look different, but lemme tell ya... you people ain't no joy to look at neither!
You are my eyes, above the surface. And I am the deadly jaws beneath it!
Ain'tcha heard? Crocodiles got real tough hide! But you... you got nowhere t'hide...
The School's Math Teacher. He has an unhealthy obsession with math, to the point where if anyone gets a single question in his class wrong, he will give them an F, regardless of how well they did otherwise.
Voice: I hear his voice as proper, but also a bit manic.
You can call me The Calculator. I'm just going to call you dead.
They're only teenagers, after all... and, as such, they need to be taught a lesson.
