God Games - Hazbin Hotel Version (EPIC the musical parody song) 16+
Project Overview
Hello everyone, I'm RoseliaVA, or well Rose.
Ya might know me from a dutch project or 2, but this thing will entirely be in english!
This will be a cover of God Games from EPIC the musical, but we'll be using Hazbin Hotel Characters instead.

In our version, Valentino will take the place of Zeus, Charlie will be Athena, Carmilla will be Apollo, Zestial will be Hephaestus, Velvette will be Aphrodite and Zeezi (the dino-looking overlord) will be Hera. Besides that, I'll of course also need some ensemble people to give everything more life.
(I might also do an impromptu Alastor harmony with Charlie and some annoyed words before Vox starts singing XD)
The plot, like in the clip, is as follows: Charlie is trying to free Angel Dust from his deal with Valentino
I'll also (try) to hire a writer who'll help put the story/lyrics together for this Hazbin Hotel version.
All auditions will need to be in character, but from the Hazbin Hotel crew, so Athena's voice for example will be less mature and just more- Charlie!
I'm the one who'll put all vocals together, and I'm also casting an animator for the animatic we'll have for the 'Overlord' Games :D
Make sure you have as little backgroundnoise as possible, slight noise reduction is allowed, but keep it as raw as possible
Having discord is a must for this project since communicating otherwise would prove to be difficult. I'll send a link to the group when everyone has been casted. Furthermore if I find a perfect voice for a character I might cast them sooner, the exception being Charlie and Valentino (and maybe Ensemble depending), unless I'm REALLY sure of their singers capability. The animator/writer auditioners might differ in the time for casting
(With the writers I'll likely cast at an earlier time since writing needs to be done before voicing and animating)
One final thing worth mentioning, this is 16+ project!

Velvette will be taking over all of Aphrodite's part, which also means auditions will recquire you to sing Aphrodite's part, which is also what you'll be auditioning with. Although in Aphrodite's part you can veer away to a lower pitch, it is your choice in this case, whatever makes her personality pop out more

- Preferred British accent

Vox will be taking over Ares' part, which also means auditions will recquire you to sing Ares' part, which is also what you'll be auditioning with.Whereas Ares' vocals are rather powerful in the original I want you to keep in mind how 'VOX' would hit the notes, adding a bit of his vibe into it.

- TV-salesman persona

Zeezi will be taking over Hera's part, which also means auditions will recquire you to sing Hera's part, which is also what you'll be auditioning with. She is a bit of a wildcard vocal-wise since she barily has any lines in the show as of now (Season 1), other than her line "What the hell? We just got here!" from the Overlord meeting (check episode 3), so I'll cast whoever I think has a fitting take on her vocals

- Middle (in the show she had 1 goofy line though, do whatever you will with that)

You'll be tasked with turning the lyrics from the original God Wars into a Hazbin Hotel version. It will still go by the plot of Valentino either releasing Angel Dust or not and Charlie trying to convince him. Obscenities can be mentioned just like in the inspirational video https://youtu.be/ebnvoi5tsgI?si=Rxcu3ehO5M63rnc8 , however lyrics 'will' have to rhyme unlike the line they replaced to 'wh*re' here. You'll be working alongside me (and well the cast when it's out) so being cooperative is a must. We'll be using Google Drive for organization purposes.
As for your audition, I'd like you to give an example of a rewrite of a Charlie vs Overlord (one of your choice) section and a version of the end part, which includes the 'thunder bringer' part. Make sure it fits into the Hellaverse as well as possible.
I'll likely a bit earlier rather than the official deadline, since rewriting stuff is important before doing any voicing and animating

As should be obvious, you'll be tasked to animate the characters in a parody way to most animatics online today of EPIC the musical, so keep that style in mind, but im open to your unique styles.

What I ask for in audition is to animate a part of the song (with the Hazbin Hotel Characters), when they are being introduced to Athena (Charlie) (timestamp 0:50-1:10). Keep in mind although this is short, for the entire project you'll have to animate the ENTIRE song
Auditiontime is open for discussion, since through casting call club I haven't really asked animators yet for projects, so let me know what is doable to everyone, so please comment on the project whether you're going to be trying out.
I do have to mention that, when in the project, stay active so I can review/look at progress every now and then.
In case this role will not be applied to, I will be using good ol' CapCut myself to put something together (which would basically be a lyricvideo with pictures of characters)

You will be singing the in-betweens of the song and the end part chorus (the thunder-bringer bit), for the latter you have to audition in here. I'll be picking however many people I need for the cast. In case I turn up with little of an ensemble I'll take a look at auditions for the other characters
