Glitchtale Animated Dub
Project Overview
This project was originally the Official Glitchtale Dub that was abandoned by it's original creator. This a revival of the original project, with the aim being to preserve as much of the original cast as possible (sans it's creator). We already have some of the cast selected and we're hoping to atleast cast for Season 1.
Requirements:
- Please be over 18 years old.
- Must have a workable mic, not super strict but please use something more than a phone.
- Be able to record in a timely manner.
There is a Discord server for organization but accommodations can be made if this is an issue. We are currently only looking for voice actors, but if you want to help out with light video editing or audio editing/SFX you can contact me directly over Discord - Leechy Boi#1619

Sans is a short, husky skeleton guy with a relaxed attitude and slow demeanor. He is typically voiced with a rather deep, bassy tone. Some interpretations of the character protray his voice with a gruff, New York style accent, but we are open to whatever version of the voice you feel is best. He typically speaks in a monotone pattern but this does not mean he should sound dead. Deadpan delivery and some emotional expression are key skills for this role.
Heya. My break just started. Wanna go to Grillby’s?
So, I wanted to talk about what happened in the last-
Timeline...
But first...
Get Dunked on.
You megalomaniac.
Gaster is an antagonistic character portrayed with a wide range of timbres, pitches, and expressions. Popular interpretations of the character give him a higher pitched and eccentric voice, but a deeper, more methodical/menacing tone is more what we're looking for. If we decide to do any effects on the voice they will be done in the editing phase. Please do not put any effects on your voice for this role. We want to hear your ability to voice act for the role, not your ability to put glitch effects and filters on your recordings.
Fascinating.
This timeline is…
Strange.
Maybe…
Just maybe...
I've been WATCHING you Frisk.
Your DETERMINATION exceeds the most.
With that kind of power,
With that SOUL,
I could return.
I could be whole again.
Flowey is a small, shrill-voiced character with no specific gender. Their voice is very high pitched and their character will be typically speaking in a manic pattern, although in this canon they also have more somber/emotional moments. This role can be voiced by someone under 18. While the character is often depicted as male, we're open to a female or androgynous voice for the character.
Do not pitch up or put effects on your vocal takes.
Why is that brat taking so long?
HEY! Smiley trashbag! Wake up!
It's Chara...they got frisk.
Asriel is a young boy with a mid-pubescent voice. This character will have alot of emotional depth over the course of the series and needs a distinct VA from Flowey. Please be able to express nuance and emotion in this role, most of his speaking roles are during emotional scenes.
You said that they got us the same 'happy ending' multiple times...
Something tells me, that at some point near the end, I asked for forgiveness.
And just like me, they deserve a second chance.
Papyrus is typically portrayed with a voice similar to Skeletor from the He-Man series. We ask for a little bit of emotional depth, some variation in the common voice for him is fine but generally higher pitched and boisterous. Please don't be a hyperactive shouting guy, there is a good amount of emotional scenes and we ask for the VA to be able to keep the voice even at lower/more somber tones.
Sans! Are you ok?
Also...what is that huge ball? Over there?
Asgore tried to break it with his weapon, but...it didn't even leave a scratch.
A simple narrator voice, serves a minor role in the story. Open to interpretation, gender is irrelevant. Please do not add effects to your takes.
You don’t remember a door like this being here.
Gaster is taking your soul...
...but it refused.
