Girls at Uni
Project Overview
Hi, I am a animation student making an animated film, I'm looking for 2 voice actors to record my short script. The characters are young females from Yorkshire and I imagine them to have funny, a little dipsy characteristics.
•‘Girls at Uni’ is a dry, comedic film which depicts the university experience through rose coloured glasses. The two main characters being uni students who are frantically working in to the night to meet their deadlines. During their midnight work grind they reflect and recall memories of their life at university. From the chaos of going out clubbing to the horrors of student accommodation. With comedic anecdotes reflecting the naivety of the young adults to the realisation and reflection of how far they have come as they transition to adulthood.
•A funny and thoughtful story with ugly, bold and relatable characters with an overall unapologetic depiction of friendship.
•Mixed media hand drawn film with the present story in ink and pen to transitioning into memory scenes drawn with oil pastels.
