This is a small little project I want to mess with as I test a new video editor. I love Gintama and there is so much content circulating that they could play with right now. We are just using images from the show to deliver this multiple-short story. The band, Matrixx, will be OC characters.

After watching K-Pop Demon Hunters, Gin is convinced the director is going to cancel his show, so he decides to confront the K-Pop Band, Matrixx, whom he assumes are demon hunters. He wants them to believe he and his friends are demons so the show can be properly cancelled, so they decide to create a fake boy band in order to get close to the girls.
This will be released in very short parts, so the commitment for this isn't big. A couple of characters appear in each part. Characters will be added as the need arises. This project will be posted to a new YT channel I plan to use later in the event I create more fan projects like this.

I regret to inform you that the actor for Gin is not able to do the lines at this time. We will need to recast the main character! I have also added two of the OC band members to the roster for the feminine actors to audition for! Please give it your all! Deadline may be extended.
Kagura has a smaller voice. In the Japanese dub, she comes off as blunt and straight forward. She says whatever she wants and is always ready for a good time. She is a young Chinese girl and may be cast a little early as we can't do the show without her. Kagura LOVES K-pop Demon Hunters and makes Gin watch it. (Kagura is part of the boy band and may also have to sing. We want it to sound bad; it's okay if you can't sing.) She can also come off as aloof.

Hasegawa is a homeless man that gets wrapped up in a lot of Gin's drama. He chooses to join the boy band. He's always down on his luck but is convinced that this could be a big break. He's a middle aged man. He can't keep a job.

(Calm and Flabberghasted) You think...I...could be in a boy band?
(Hopeful) If my wife sees me on television, she may return. We can get famous and I can give my child a real daddy! The daddy she deserves!
(shocked) Ohh!!! Look! It's the hon moon!! The hon moon!!!!!!
There are extras in the crowd. These can be male and female of all accents.
FAN 1: It's...it's Matrixx!! MATRIXXX!!
FAN 2: OTSUU-CHAN!!! I LOVE YOUUU!!! *rips shirt out of excitement*
FAN 3: *cries* History is in the making!... Hey! If you want to kiss Yumi's feet, wait in line like the rest of us!
This character managers the band Matrixx. You are free to have art of this character since this is an OC I will need to draw. He looks similar to Bobby from K-pop Demon Hunters. He is open to a snooty higher or medium range voice. Feel free to send various takes and play with his character. He should sound adult and seem professional.

Gintama English Dub was never completed and Gin has had a couple different VA. I am wanting someone that is similar to the lower voice used in the Japanese Dub. This character is usually very chill, but becomes overly expressive in stressful moments and situations. The show is great and I'd really like you to watch some references from the show. Gin picks his nose, is lazy, and he needs the ability to do some fun yells.

(Gin is very afraid as he is stuck assuming there is a sleep paralysis demon holding him there. He yells for Kagura laughingly, then becomes truly frightened, and then exasperated at the thought of not being able to move.)(You can watch the first reference above for the scene) HAHAHAHAHAH!!! (Gin just watched Kpop Demon Hunters for his first time) All I want to know is....WHYYY!!! WHY DID THE DIRECTORS CUT JINU!!?? He doesn't deserve to die. He obviously was the MC.
Dana is a rocker girl. She is part of the band that Gin and friends meet. I can cast two people for this part as the girls will possibly need to sing. Please attach a singing demo if you have one, or sing a song from Kpop Demon Hunters/similar. :)

Fumi is the lead singer for the band. She seems wiser and more experienced than the other girls and needs a medium to medium low voice. Rumi is a good example of the voice wanted. Character may have two voice actors for singing.
